PFF grades from last night...Ransom had a night
LinvilleGorge replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Moehrig basically straight up said during his 2nd half sideline interview that Ransom should be the other starting safety. The reporter asked for his feedback on the situation and Ransom was the only name he mentioned saying that he'd been looking great and doing everything he needs to do.- 36 replies

I sure hope so. He's at best a disappointment if he's not.
-
KB was on his way, but the combo of tearing his ACL and losing his mom was just too much. I don't think he had the mental makeup to be great for long, but I can imagine a universe where he had a David Boston type career where he was dominant for a brief period before weight issues and injuries derailed him.

"Signing" is one thing but you wouldn't be signing them. You'd have to trade for them. Parsons isn't gonna get moved for anything less than an absolute king's ransom. The last time an elite pass rusher was traded during his prime was Khalil Mack and he fetched the Raiders two 1sts, a 3rd, and a 6th.

The list goes... Smitty Moose DJ Moore LOLOLOLOL Seriously, our 4th leading all-time WR is Mark Carrier with 2547 yards. That's CRAZY.
-
you're taking this entirely too seriously LOL
-
We'll see how it all plays out. Some of those guys will inevitably fall, some guys who may be off the radar currently may rise.
-
How about a 59 year old linebacker?
-
Yeah, if there are still question marks after this season and there's a guy on the board when we're up that we think has a chance to be a franchise QB then you have to pull the trigger and move on. We will have given Bryce a fair shake at that point giving him three years and spending a ton of resources on OL and WRs.
-
That's what a lot of us were saying in the Bryce draft then 3 QBs went in the top 4.
-
Didn't Nicole want Stroud? Hell, I'm sold. Let her make the call. LOL
-
We probably want a 4th, they want it to be a 6th, maybe we settle on a 5th, maybe we toss in a 7th back to them to get it.
-
the plan...
-
Which is exactly what we should be doing.
-
The worst possible scenario is gray area. I just want him to sink or swim. Don't go out there and be middling. Give us the answer one way or the other.
-
If this is the case, which I don't completely rule out, I wonder how Canales plans on navigating this mess of convincing Tepper we have to move on from Bryce while not getting himself canned in the process? Quite the tightrope to walk...
-
We've been daring to be great ever since Tepper bought the team just trying to skip that whole rebuilding process. We're always just one giant splash move away from being great... except we absolutely are not. We'll cut Cam and bring in Teddy Bridgewater. Oops, make that Sam Darnold. Oh, well... Baker Mayfield. We'll fire Ron and bring in this college hot shot who has never beaten a ranked team in his entire career. Okay, that didn't work let's go the retread route. Oh good lord, what a disaster. Okay, this interim did okay but we can do better. How about the guy that made our last QB wash out look serviceable? We'll mortgage the future of the franchise to draft this QB that looks like the kid the locals are really excited about who should be able to do big things on the varsity squad next year after running the JV team for a year to get his feet wet.
-
That makes no sense. Robinson isn't great, but he's serviceable and the Commanders' RB depth chart looks like straight trash without him.
-
If your 3rd year QB still needs a WR to run the offense pre-snap you're already fuged. If this is the case, then I think we NEED to move Thielen because we need to see if Bryce can do it.
-
He's from Minnesota, his wife is from Minnesota, his family is in Minnesota, pretty sure his primary residence is still in Minnesota. I think I already know the answer to this, but yeah, I agree that I would put it to him like in large part because I'm 99% sure I already know the answer.

The David Tepper way. We've constantly acted like we're just that one guy away from taking the league by storm and establishing a dynasty. It's baffling. This isn't basketball. Outside of an MVP caliber QB, one player's impact is limited. Even then, if the rest of your roster isn't at least decent, even an MVP caliber QB's impact is relatively limited in terms of overall team success and W-L record. We saw it plenty of seasons with Cam. We're seeing it with Burrow in Cincy.

Maybe, but I'm not sure. Scourton has been heavy enough but his production dipped big time when he bulked up to the necessary size in college, he also lacks the length. Princely has more length but a considerably less bulk. They were both considered 3-4 OLBs as prospects for a reason.
-
I'm surprised to see them move Phillips, especially for so little. He's a decent NT and they don't have much behind him on paper. Hell, they only have two healthy NTs on the roster currently.
-
The sad thing is that they'd laugh at you for the offer.
