I'm happy for him. Seems like a legitimately good dude. Gonna be interesting to see what the Vikings do going forward. Extend Darnold and leave McCarthy on the bench? Trade McCarthy? Sign and trade deal with Darnold? They definitely have options.

Less of a need with the Chiefs having a bit of a cushion for home field now with the Bills losing today. The NFL also very much wants the Chargers in the playoffs

Night game looks like a good one with the Chiefs and Chargers

Evidently the Heels has a second meeting with Belichick late last week. Good lord, this might actually happen. Well, at least as a Panthers/Heels fan I am VERY much accustomed to hoping for the best while fully expecting the worst. LOL
-
Yeah, they got a just do away with it and replace it with something else. I've seen it floated to do like a 4th and 15 or 4th and 10 conversion instead of an inside kick. If I remember correctly the math works out to where 4th and 18 is roughly equal to the old onside kick success rate.

Rams seal it with that TD.
-
If you watch the tackles closely almost every team is false starting in obvious passing situations.
-
Big time 4th and 5 conversion for the Rams. They knew if they settled for three to go up six they were gonna lose.
-
The Bills are just scoring at will now. Total momentum shift. I'd trade the Bills our 1st round pick and their choice of any five players off our roster for Allen and they'd die laughing at the offer.
-
I mean, Allen is basically the new Cam. He's just on a different level physically from everyone else.
-
The Rams better not think they can go conservative because the Bills' offense is humming now.

A PAC-12 game has broke out in the NFL in L.A.

The Rams are going full Greatest Show on Turf on the Bills' D.

Panthers vs Eagles official thread
LinvilleGorge replied to Jackson113.2's topic in Carolina Panthers
On paper, agreed. But ultimately you can have the best scouts in the world and it doesn't matter if the actual decision maker's don't listen to them and go with their own picks instead. Good information can't overcome bad decision makers. -
The Rams are putting it on the Bills. They're playing with desperation because their record requires it. Don't sleep on this team if they keep playing like this.

That's five names over the course of 30 years. Probably about the same as every other position group. Projecting college players to the NFL is hard. Doing it from lower levels of college competition is even harder. It's not about the program they come from as much as it is about the level of competition they faced.

And then Norv came and proved that was a mistake all along.

There are about five WRs in the NFL at any given time who meet these mythical "#1 WR" criteria of Panthers fans. It's pretty wild considering that we're a franchise that has had all of three quality long-term WRs in the history of the franchise. Smitty, Moose, and Moore. That's the whole list. -
Yeah, Kupp was a monster in college but there were a lot of questions about whether or not it would translate to the NFL coming from a D1AA school and then having a pedestrian combine.
-
Don't draft RBs coming off of ACLs highly and definitely don't trade up to do it. Hoping for the best for him but these non-contact injuries almost end up worst case scenario.

I'd just try to figure out which mid to late round WRs the Rams are looking at and draft those guys. Kupp in the 3rd, Nacua in the 5th. That's crazy.
-
He's looking much better. I'm still very skeptical that he'll prove to be a high level starter.
-
Good lord that catch just now by Puka Nacua. Holy poo.
-
Just because you're running a two minute offense doesn't mean it's a two minute situation. Defenses play soft in those situations because they're using the clock as a 12th man.

I Am Incredibly Encouraged by What I've Seen From This Team
LinvilleGorge replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep. People are frustrated by the losses but we're competing in every game while protecting our draft position. Given our current situation that is perfect. Do that every Sunday.
