The draft safaris and the head coach jet set. Yeah. A show. But I just remembered something I have been meaning to bring up re the team being flat (that isn't really the reason for Sunday but it IS a big issue and morale suck) The fuging turf. They do not want to play on that turf and he makes them. The players have lobbied him. But he will put it in for some Euro soccer team. You think that builds pride and gets guys to want to play for the organization? Imma guess, fug no. And then saddles them with a project at QB and swaps out their coaches like I don't know.... new cars.

That's fair but they do need to overcome that somehow. I was wondering where the heck they were but have not rewatched for the defense.

You cannot start Bryce Young again. He is not an NFL player.

Yeah but don't take a guy you need to sit. That is a project, in that kind of situation. Later is where the guys that are going to sit are supposed to be taken. With one pick. -
The one constant is Tepper. Put some olive oil in the pan with him heat him up. These radio guys get paid by the word. No dead air. They throw so much at the wall and they will usually use the good cop bad cop or pro vs con advocate roles. This guy said just now, that the Panthers from last year and the Panthers from this year didn't look different. And kept on talking like it was true. Really? fuging D looked different. OL looked different. Open WRs that everyone could see were open, different... we know what looked the same. I find I'd rather get opinions here than from most of the radio jocks.

You have to take those kind of guys if you are in the game and at bat. There is at least some evidence that that is the pool you should be looking in. I don't who thought Gabbert. Doesn't matter I am sure someone did. The whole thing with these players playing right away might not be such a great way with non running types. You can let the athletes loose but these other guys need to play by more complicated and precise rules. I don't how you take a 1st and sit him these days but it might be what you should do.

College tape is about all they have but it is against college guys so you have to account for that when you watch. I didn't watch much and don't remember if I caught on to the dropback meander and tippy toe until he was a pro. I saw people say about the LSU game having some nuggets, haven't watched it. But the Pro Day issues were obvious immediately and with all the other questions I was just... out. All the way. I was thinking of it like a horse race and picking a long shot and going all in; if you lose we are walking home. Or to the homeless shelter.

That is pretty much what I think. Never say never, but the odds are heavily stacked when you take in the big picture; he is squeezing his timeline now with every demonstration of his issues. He has to have the proper form to get the max from his arm. He hit maybe a couple of longer throws last year but with all the misses and looking at Sunday those couple of nice balls could have been accidents. I mean whatever he did, is not repeatable. Or however many good downfield throws there were, I know not many. Even with drops. What is happening I think is - he looked better in camp his balls looked better in the air, the form seemed to have been addressed. He was driving through it, looking good. But he hasn't taken that into the game. Snapped right back to his way at the first sign of trouble. I probably said this before like everything else but he could sit, work, try to fix his stuff for a whole season. If anybody wants to do that. Don't even play him, redshirt his ass and rebuild him the right way; I don't know what else you can really do if he doesn't get it out of the ditch. Starting Sunday. Rock bottom, he can reach and touch it he is getting so close. Week three is the big game for me, or was. I did not expect him to look like that. That stuff he is doing I just don't think it will work. Maybe I am right maybe I am wrong. Oh well.

If people would have just watched the right video with an unbiased eye, they would have seen. And it was pointed out, linked to, described in detail numerous times. I am talking about his Pro Day. I read through an old thread from last year maybe late Sunday night - pretty sure it was pre draft and you were talking about the same thing I was seeing and trying to tell people about. The run up for the launch. The effort employed to get zip and distance was noted. the mechanics of it. Pointing how the playbook would be limited, especially with very little playing from under center. The playbook is inferred, but the mechanics footwork arm strength are on video and tangible evidence. Not speculative. Those are huge things I never could understand people not even looking.

Hell you could say Stroud and you'd be an idiot after they took Bruce. Even posing the possibility that has arm was maybe a question mark brought the hater hammer down. (you know, like that velocity thing? I am skeptical and need to see it work was Pitchfork time. Made me want to call him a midget because I knew it would really get to them)

Y'all are slanderous beyond compare. Yeah most of them stopped when the Only Positive Bryce thread was un-stickied, and the ones that stayed, most gave it up on Sunday.

I am not a sunshine and lollipop smoke blower fan. But I think he needs to learn. You cannot keep throwing coaches out like you change your socks. A lot of us understood that he had to go through the motions of working with Young. The hope (or fear) was that he could coach him up and draw up plays that would get him to maybe top 20 status. I only saw a couple of people thinking it was going to blossom into what he was drafted to be, but most hoped that he could run a tailored offense and get us to 5 or 6 wins. I will again say, he (Canales) has proven to help guys that had played well in the league but slipped. If can do anything with Young then imagine him working with someone that legit had NFL level tools and potential. Gotta see it through the same way we saw Bryce through last year

It got a pretty big bump from his Sunday afternoon. There was a lot of hope that was crushed pretty hard. Hopefully they will put him out of our misery soon and people can focus on something more positive. More likely it will be Canales bitching, Evero bitching, Morgan bitching. But he is starting on Sunday so…. people are going to talking.

All that looks great except so much of it is it is yard ball running around all over. And you take that and put it in an NFL speed and reaction format. We have been looking at it.
-
I always suspected Luke would have tried to stay if he thought there was a better situation. He didn’t have a thing to prove, and the team was being Tepperized and de-pounded.

have we talked about how David Tepper's birthday is 9/11?

We should have sent a card. -
Historian level recap lol. Thank you. I remember the stuff with Norman, he was begging to bypass his agent wasn't he? Dave made up his egotistical mind already.
-
Yes, he could. I'll have some fun by saying Canales could too. He sits, he is no longer being bashed. It is always another angle to things, seems like.

Real Talk - A New Approach in Being A Fan Currently

They pay people now, to influence people. No joke, by supporting certain things or people with public statements, you can get paid. Anybody have Dave's cell number?
