  1. Yeah , agree. I made note of that too. They are just worthless. Dishonest but it helps their case so it's okay. If they do it.
  2. WTF was he supposed to say right after the game? We don't know that the decision was yet made at that moment. I don't think it would have been.
  3. Yes. And we should all expect some growing pains. I am going to try and look at it like, "well, he will learn from this. And we are one step closer to a higher pick" haha those are my standards for this season.
  4. I wasn't ever that worried about him. I just knew for whatever reason they weren't going there in the draft or it figured pretty strongly they wouldn't. But I wasn't arguing that there would be no errant snaps. So far so good.
  5. I'd have liked "Yes. Bryce. Well, for now he is still our 2023 1st round pick"
  6. Canales told him what to do he isn’t doing it. That alone is cause for being pulled. 123 plant throw. He did it in the preseason. He may be able to adapt if he takes serious time and completely dedicates himself to rebuilding that tippy toe abomination into NFL worthy form. It is going to take him serious time to evolve into sound technique. He has to maximize what he has; he will never thrive doing the stuff his way. IMO. Those ducks.
  7. So positive. He seems capable of being a no nonsense harass if he needs to be - that’s positive. Like much of what he is doing. He is a great communicator. The stuff I haven’t been crazy about, nothing has been critical yet. Some missteps here and there. He wins for me benching Young I thought we would have to watch that crap every Sunday. Or not watch. If he can gain Tepper’s respect and handle him, let’s go,
  8. I was thinking if Dalton puts up some numbers and makes these WRs look decent they will forget about some little 5’10” bust by then. They are gonna think it won’t happen to them …
  9. I don’t know. You guys have taken the easy ones. A’Shawn is becoming g a favorite of mine, he plays hard. Uh, we are so stacked a QB we have a former number one overall as our backup!
  10. It was the entire justification for calling him an NFL start QB. There wasn't another. Every other trait was deemed 'good enough'.
  11. I am with you on that. It was the motivation for me to start question his ability to play in the NFL, let alone be the top dog in a draft. That will slow you down and make you hold the ball. And run around like it's a playground. I don't think he is processing though at any kind of S2 speed. But you know what? I don't have to fuging live with him in my head any more and it won't long before I just close the book and move to the next one. So we aren't going back and forth over it, you can have all that opinion you want with no objections from me. We have lost so much time and assets messing with this guy... edit: he did work on that arm, in the sense that he triedt o change all his base and technique. And it looked like it helped his ball flight, but he bailed on it 15 minutes into the first game. It is just too far gone to change.
  12. I am out of beers and pie. I feel you. Taikng a break from it for a few days maybe even a couple of weeks until the next shoe drops.
  13. I might be back on the warpath soon enough but right now, it has been a miserable pastime since March 2023 when the trade was done I guess, and the Bryce love affair began. I feel good and am looking forward to seeing a game for the first time since 2022. I don't feel like a totally bitter fan since they lifted that 180 pound weight off the our backs.
  14. They are completely neglecting the main thing they pushed which is his processor. Literally why he was at the top of the boards. He has been slow to process, late with the ball, he isn't showing any kind of processing superiority.
  15. That was the most infuriating part of these national people's narrative. They didn't help him? Good lord that is all they tried to do. And they did. Defense has to go to bed hungry every night because he got all the good stuff.
  16. I have noticed some nice blocking schemes for the WRs. I haven't seen that stand out with other coaches, the way it looks to me this season. And like some of the tweaks. And the way they are looking the blocking player could be turned into WR on another play with the same look. He was saying the same plays from multiple formations to disguise things. I think we may be seeing some of that WR coach background Idzik and Canales have.
  17. You might have been buying based on that. I m still buying but based off of the primary talent he displayed, rehabbing retread vets. As opposed to his Bryce mission. Thought you were done with Bryce long ago. I was. You may remember my opinion on how difficult it is to rebuild mechanics that will hold up under duress. Pressure. This was totally predictable because his are so fuged up. And ingrained. He won a Heiseman with those mechanics he probably doesn't even want to change them. For me the reason I wanted Canales here was to get the next QB. So far, plan is in motion.
  18. Traded franchises with Carroll Rosenbloom. Unique transaction. Easy to google don't have to tell it here.
  19. Agree. Tepper doesn't have physical limitations and may be learning. Wouldn't the Young debacle make You want to settle down and think a little harder about how you are approaching things? When I fug up large, it is a pretty rude awakening and gets my attention. If it is true that Canales and Morgan wanted to do this and he gave his approval or didn't weigh in, told them if that's what they think then okay, we might be seeing progress.
  20. Blaming the Panthers for trashing QBs that their original teams gave up on. I guess it is semantics to some degree; we didn't ruin we failed to reclaim. Made it hard on the guys they brought in with all the musical chairs of coaches and quarterbacks going on every year. You can't get players playing fast when they are thinking about their new assignments, either. Every year.
  21. I feel like the WR is Canales domain. I think Dan probably works with both Canales and Evero to get what they want. Add in the spare no expense to support Bryce Young, things are geared towards that and Evero gets only scraps and hand me downs and players outside of the 1st and 2nd rounds. Damage is done now, but with better quarterback play they can maybe invest in the defense this next offseason.
  22. Ha! Three days ago I would have said: Someone go and change that sign in the early morning hours when the bar is closed. Whatever makes Tepper flip out and do something scandalous would be fun. He okayed putting Bryce out of our misery, he is off my poo list this week. Just the week.
  23. I forgot to say, that sorry ass passing chart is a pretty strong indication of what Canales is working with. I don't have all 22 to see all the routes and if there were people running downfield towards that other end zone. One fuging jump ball to Legette was all I asked. Not really, but it was the main attraction on Sunday, but no we got Pop Warner boy.
  24. It might hint that they had decided on Bryce early on and are not trying to tailor the offense to him. Alternately, it was stated that Bryce was getting input about what his best plays from Alabama were, the rollouts, that sort of thing. None of it can be revealed if the QB checks down nearly every passing play. It might be Bama it might be Dan Henning play action + deep shot, how could people tell from what the fug it was supposed to be from he was doing?
