  1. I just knew we would be stopping some run with that front. poo. The guys in there for DB are doing better than I expected though.
  2. A'Shawn caught my attention vs the Saints and has kept it. So much wash it's hard to see the numbers but looks like he had a very strong game. probably rewatch tonight.
  3. Thielen's looked bad to me. I actually thought, if you are going out that is the way to go.
  4. I saw that. I was eating it up agreeing with everything and then he came with the Bryce pep talk and I was like ... sigh.... why do I feel like if he were to play vs him he would be chomping at the bit dreaming of strip sacks, ints, all that stuff.
  5. That's why you throw deep lol. I like it when we do it.
  6. Hmm Cincinnati plays tonight and then has to play at a 1 pm Sunday away game. I don’t mind that too much.
  7. I imagined what would be said about that in private. I didn't realize there were enough for the players to notice. Lol. That will be a subject of conversation. "Wtf with the bags? Did you guys see that?" Then here comes that answer - what they are all probably thinking.
  8. Use that kind of OL if you have it. They are just getting started together too, but that can best protect the older guys back there and let them play. Dalton has done it before. A little. He doesn't have a problem thinking because he sees and reacts to stuff that eventually is relatable to something he has done. (meaning if it confuses him initially, he will probably be able to say... I see what they are doing, it's like when I played against so and so. I think he said something like that) He has the tools, and can just play. He is going to have an off day but mostly what we saw is what he is. The run he made for a 1st that got called back, he shouldn't be doing that much.
  9. Leader. fuging cool. and lol thank you to the bag wearers because that poo got Bryce benched as much as his play.
  10. Would you trust Tepper if you were Darnold? Did everything they could to not have him play in 2022. You could do far worse than Darnold, obviously. cough cough bryce cough
  11. That is my favorite thing they have ever done, by far probably. LOLOL keep pounding that poo.
  12. Been thinking I am seeing it and am glad he confirmed. I liked him right off, as a football guy, and knew what a huge job he was undertaking. Decided to give him a season pass. He is going to have hiccups in the mechanics of gameday and we just have to take the hit. It's gonna happen, no matter how great yesterday went. I am gonna say they did get to evaluate the roster just fine with their preseason approach. Bryce is worthless, all the reps in the world wouldn't have made him magically be what he isn't. And Andy doesn't look like he needed it. I think they found some guys. Maybe they would have been fooled without a better tryout policy. Do it in a game.
  13. They seem much more measured in their analysis and coverage. I could have missed it but most of the offensive apology worthy stuff was elsewhere.
  14. Basically my take too. There is no way a real NFL guy can buy into what Bryce offers, if they do they're going down with the ship. I think this happened mostly after he got in and assessed his position. He saw the path out of the dilemma. A big selling point for me was I liked what I heard from him and the rep he was getting fit like a glove if were to move on from Bryce. Head us back in the right direction. Which is still my hope. I had no faith in Young, I tried but could only rationalize him being good to a point and would just hit a wall before I could get to where it needed to be. That passing chart made after the Chargers is a good illustration of where the wall was.
  15. Oh, also he didn't say "get up on your tippy toes and throw it over their heads" joking not arguing here
  16. I mean, how many times have we used 'shortcomings', 'falling short' just in normal use, and then we see the pun? Lol at editing yourself all the time to worry about that.
  17. The biggest tip off for detecting journalistic ulterior motives this year was the OL and WR excuse. If they are using that, they are dishonest. Intentionally, accidentally, whatever. Hard to say which one is worse. Here is the theme: there is a want to 'get' Tepper. They'll say whatever they think they need to say. And they really do not care about who they hurt in the process. They ruin careers. I have heard some of the worst poo in history lately, mostly from the network TV people, but radio as well. Anyway this is exactly what they are doing to Canales, to Morgan, the OL, the WRs. The guy that collects tickets isn't off limits. I
  18. They were slanderous. I thought it couldn't get worse than Ryan, and then here comes that joke Bruschi.
  19. If wishes were horses.. what will people pay for a QB3? I don't actually think anyone smart enough the stay in the NFL would trade for him.
  20. Wow we still have Bryce stans. You guys need to wake up. He can't play in the NFL it doesn't matter if somebody on ESPN says he can.
  21. Hmm, maybe Tepper can just give him his jet, and call it even. Fly away Bryce, off into the sunset. It's been a real pressure. To the thread title... I don't imagine Young has much confidence, but he has steadily lived down to my expectations.
  22. Rex Ryan and Teddy Bruschi need to be freaking fired. If they would have said those things about someone in their club.... well they won't because they don't have the balls. I am sad that Thomas has to 'stretch the truth' about Bryce in order to get cover for speaking his mind.
