Absolutely. I was arguing this with someone bitching about our scouts. It came off of me saying that no one who knows what the NFL requires would have been behind this. The people that were making the decisions didn't need the scouts to bring the player to them, he was in everybody's face. The area scouts weren't signing off on him, but they probably weren't asked to, officially. Maybe they sit in meetings and listen and nod their heads but the decision is made by the high level offensive guys. And the owner and the wife of the owner The big dog QB people plus the big dog money man, they were the scouts on Bryce Young. All these top QB prospects, it's is the same.

Yep. We still have chumps posting poo like all of the above. Completely still attached to their belief that he has NFL ability despite his obvious physical limitations. Zero credibility. The poo about so many coaches screwing him up? He got them fired. Thomas Brown called plays. Reich called plays. They were the same offense. The narrative is flipped upside down to benefit Young. Or their belief in Young. The next ones were brought in to help him and ended up in the same place as Reich. Why would that happen? Occam's Razor says Young couldn't execute more. Andy Dalton proved that 2023 week 3 vs Seattle.

My question, why didn't they run behind Hunt with 1st and goal at their 2? 3rd and 4th down were away from him. they ran behind the weaker players. I thought they were weaker, and they failed, so... they could set a formation to keep people from loading up his side. they didn't. I love linemen and both are good ones but there are some aspects of this resource allocation I am looking at a little sideways. Like we can't get 2 yards in three running plays? I expected that adding them meant we would be able to get that a yard even when they know it is coming. And that poo didn't happen.

I am gonna take up for A'Shawn Robinson. He is a decent piece. Complimentary maybe but with good players around him I think he has enough.

Stop Being Insane(remaining season primer)

Yeah we do not need to dig this hole any deeper. 2022/23/24 draft picks 3rd round and higher... it went deeper, but the most impactful is 3rd and higher. Offense: 4 1sts, 3 2nds, probably more it is so convoluted 1 3rd DJ Moore, Brian Burns (his picks and his money savings) Defense 2 3rds -
Can't process what you can't see. End of story. Out of pie and beer so Cheers..

That's probably up to DJ. Does he need to be filthy insanely rich or just generationally rich? You can't go with market value for a number one. I wouldn't.

If it were possible to offload that salary, do not blink just do it. That guy might be placed on suicide watch when he is cut and no one from the NFL calls.

I'm not interested in seeing ANY more assets spent on offense and we can get a high pick by standing pat on the D and getting those backups snaps. The more points we need to keep up, the more the offense gets experience and gives us some entertainment.
-
It's better football but not sure our hole isn't finished being dug by the defense, playoffs are pretty far away.

That was an Evero connection. And he isn't all that so far. -
He is the perfect number two, the starter can be horrible but there will not be anyone clamoring for the backup. Maybe we should market him that way

Agree and they are tight right now, aligned in vision and working towards the same end. I just wish they'd quit shorting the defense. Shorting, the puns write themselves.

That sucks man. Been there with the destruction back when Hugo hit and totaled the house and many others I don't think we had power for week at least. This has to be the most massive damage, geographically spread over states and just where you are there is more than enough. But it's everywhere. The people in Florida are massively fuged too, I mean on your level and worse. And that was forecast well in advance of landfall. Not sure about where you are, if they were mobilized for that. They almost certainly had crews from all over lined up to go to Florida, but likely weren't ready for what happened up there. Probably going to have to deal with it as best you can for a couple of days maybe. And the bridges being out the roads being washed away, it isn't just clearing fallen trees to make their way to you. Much bigger challenge. Good luck , hang in there.

Yeah, thanks. I get excited sometimes lol. My mouth has gotten me in all kinds of different trouble. I'm the guy that they tell 'one more word and you're going to jail', that says one more word. -

Okay I want to correct this. Just watched the goal line series. Damn the OL, totally on them - 1st and goal the the 2 take 3 shots running it and gain 1.5 yards. The 3rd down play went between Icky and Zavala. Icky got stood up. Didn't move poo. Zavala really wasn't the issue that I could see. But is hard to see once they get all up in there. The 4th down, Corbett got beat, the crease was between him and Zavala. aaagghh -

Jeez, listening to Canales post game. The goal line failed run was behind Zavala by design. I could have told him that wasn’t a good idea. -
Yeah, and a bridge to the future that isn't washed all the way out.

Okay... and your point? Talk to me after a few more weeks of losing.

I am on the honeymoon for sure. The grass is greener right here.

He has adequate tools and the wisdom from being a long time starter. Been around. The right combination -the declining (edit: but still good enough) skills and knowledge acquired from years of playing, works. It can work for years. adding: That is how those guys, now without the top tools, can still play. And Bryce without the top tools, can't. The way the came to those tools was from a different direction.

Semantics... call it an architect if you want to. It's kind of an analogy thing anyhow.
