My opinion on the edge rusher lobbying here is we need to give these guys the season before even thinking about it. We cannot get to a QB before some TE or slot guy gets open vs our ILB when they need them to. I would wait on edge and focus on a stud to play next to Wallace or whoever

Moton was inactive Sunday, injured. It means I’d probably rather use Christianson to sub for an injured Moton than Nijman and use Corbett at G. Because I don’t trust Nijman in pass pro so much.

Looking at the Jets and that mess they have going on, it seems like they would be pretty hopeless. But it is Vegas. And the Panthers. IIRC one of the reasons the took him was they thought he had a brain in his head. And he was a captain in school which indicates some leadership qualities, ie a certain amount of intelligence.

I hear you but they are coaching to win the game. You start unnecessarily taking risks you introduce a few bad outcome possibilities. His ball security is poor, to start with. And we had Nijman at ROT. A strip sack, an int, just a simple loss of the down due to a missed connection, could change the outcome. You don’t fug with maybe throwing the game away just to practice stuff. It’s coming. It has to be coming. That box will be stacked with players who can win the down, soon enough. Then I hope we see some of what you are asking for.
