I don’t know about lifelong. I liked Marv Levy a lot. I love the crazy fugs that go out and fill a stadium when it is below zero. I haven’t had a player crush on a Bill, not even OJ. Kind of liked Flutie. Liked Steve Trasker,Tasker whater… gritty ST player. But not crushing on them. And then recently we have had a pipeline of players, coaches, FO, the whole deal. I root for our former people, unless we are playing them. I someone thinks that’s bad, fug what they think.

Stroud needs some mental rehabbing. Change of scenery probably would be best. He still has that form and arm. Just got to clear his head of whatever has gotten into it. Build his confidence back up. If that is possible. It is worth a try.

At the time Canales was hired… a lot of people do not want to hear this but Bryce was a big part of people with other options not wanting to take it on. Tepper’s hard headedness was at the root of the problems but Bryce is a byproduct of that. And you had to buy in completely on Bryce if you wanted the job. So…Dave, step right up.

It is kind of funny that CJ could be playing himself into the exact model of young talented QB that ended up washing out and might be worth a flier. But that’s after he is cut which he isn’t. And likely won’t be. Another surprise is I never saw problems with him and the 5th year option. Thought he would get the extension. Then while I am not looking he goes and switches up. There could be problems there.

Dan promised not to be reckless. But this Icky situation impacts what he can do in the draft, I am afraid. It comes down to can we best replace Icky in FA or through the draft, and if it looks like draft then they will use FA for their edge. If it is only two years, and it fails, it is not the end of the world. I guess.

I think Mike McDaniels is a goof but they should probably hire him in Buffalo. You need to maximize Allen and that offense. Hire a strong DC that matches their personnel and go.

You can’t directly compare, the two situations are really different. I would want neither. I always said the trade was horrible and should never have been done, but once done you go with CJ. I just would never have made a trade like that for either or them. They have taken CJ and try to have him carry the offense, where here it is the offense carries Bryce. I imagine CJ here having the things done for him like Bryce has, and think we would see a different QB.

I think because they feared he was breaking down physically. He has always been a good player.

Yeah I know what you wrote. What advantage does Bryce have that Canales ignores? In order to make the analogy between him and a coach whose player has advantages, there must be advantages being overlooked and not used. Is how I meant it.
