This is one thing, we have so little on defense we won't be facing the typical step back trying to replace 3-4 players to change. I guess that's good? So, problem I see is David Tepper brought the 3-4 with him.

The insistence to get some top 5 like players around him on offense is the direct link to this poor defense. If he weren't so fuging needy we might have settled for a lesser left guard or right guard for that matter (As much of a beast as Hunt is, I love him, but I believe you don't need the best at all costs to make stuff work if you have a near capable player at QB).

The OL might have been on if the defense wasn't throwing them off. I don't think 150 yards and 2 TDs from Chuba was doing poo to help our defense. I think they had a 35 second drive, and then a 55 second drive right behind it. You can't compete if that's the best you can do.

I had the part about strength on strength and weakness on weakness, calling their O a weakness. I guess they usually are... but the defense was so ugly early. And their strength is stronger than our strength.
