  1. This is the most impatient bunch I have ever seen in sports.
  2. Yeah there is. He sucks and just about everybody wants him off the team as soon as finances allow. Or I could use the excuse that we would ruin any value he might still have. Either one is fine.
  3. No thanks to Donnelly click bait. Youth or not. Absolutely zero need to see him and be reminded what a fuging disaster he has been.
  4. There isn't enough upside to make it tolerable. We have suffered enough.
  5. It would be “what else are you giving us?” I don’t have hopes of getting much but it probably is a better chance to unload him in the offseason. Fields I think we’d pay too much just because he might be an attractive UFA. And he is a QB. $$$$$? I just don’t feel like he is a great bet, more like, well ‘it could happen’. But unsure. Makes it a price thing. What am I willing to lose?
  6. I am sick of him myself. He sucked Sunday. He sucked the previous Sunday. He will suck this Sunday.
  7. Fan since season 0. Disliked Tepper as the new owner within the first year. Gave up in ‘20 and stayed gone for ‘21. Came back for the best year we’ve had under the asshole in 2022 only to watch him flush 5 years down the toilet with that Young brilliance Before this season I had promised unless Young went to crossroads and made a deal - and poo did a 180 - that if they kept putting him on the field I would not do another season. At this point if he is on the 2025 roster I may bail. A positive is we are right there for the first pick without having to watch him play I turned the channel both times he came in late and hope I have seen the last of him. But I thought we’d have to play him all year to suck this bad.
  8. I don't doubt any of that. If you own the business, whether or not you are an asshole is secondary though, inside that business. We can't all quit like his employees though. Well, we could, and I'm not sure I won't. He is on his last chance for me, life is too short to 'keep pounding' my head into the wall while hoping it will magically change.
  9. The baddest ass non one dimensional pass rusher, that is 100% healthy and ready for the NFL when the season is done. Next pick, defense. Next pick, defense. And so on. I definitely know we need a stud TE but we need the defense to be restored to NFL average, minimum.
  10. If I had a serious message to Tepper, that wouldn't be "fug you" lol, I think I know where to start. Chuck Knoll. Bill Cowher. How many years was it? Next is where I list every freaking coach every coordinator (system) every GM that has been through here in his term. And (he) came in making a big deal about emulating Pittsburgh specifically because of the coaching stability. Listen Dave, that team and those coaches had crappy seasons. They really had crappy players at times. Did they fire everybody or did they fix it? I'll turn it over to someone else.
  11. Along those lines, and it is not to downplay the two guards Morgan bought, but I was thinking you don't need superman at every position. First of all, how can you do that? Can't. But the point is you need good players on the OL and teach them to work together. Teamwork and execution is a major equalizer. To your point, you don't get that without some stability. And continuity. It is really clear. Some things don't change, getting to the quarterback is number one priority. But no half measure like Burns. I don't mind that we didn't make that investment, we didn't compound our mistake on that one. Especially with no Luke and TD second line, we at least need a faux Peppers and Rucker to go beside DB. A'Shawn looks much better in a sidekick role. Everybody does. It is kind of like when we jumped Theilen with Diontae, everyone got better.
  12. Canales and Morgan and the whole crew have much more time to consider the options. I hate to say it because people don't like it but IF the demise of Bryce is real, it opens things way up. Better to know where we are not heading sooner than later. If they'd have known he was/would be shelved after 2 weeks maybe we'd have operated differently setting the roster.
  13. We were involuntarily tanking to start with.
  14. Rams 2nd should be a top 40 so probably not too far down from what where the Bears will be picking. Watch that poo be right before us and they snag the guy we want. That would be par for the course.
  15. They can probably cut him in 2026? They have two decent looking young guys behind him.
  16. Well, I think he was looking like a downgrade from his 2023 self. And if we do lose something isn't like 45 points against is that much different than 38 points against, they need to get the young players the reps to evaluate them... Just total speculation but people in his unit have been fuging up their assignments and it isn't always clear to us who was making the errors. That has to stop.
  17. 2003 you know it. Still my favorite team by a very small margin over 2015. And they were great too, it is just that the 2003 season was so improbable and we showed a LOT better in that SB than in 2015. I think someone broke Moose's record for longest TD maybe but that was freaking great. If Fox hadn't greedily chased those 2 pointers.... If the Pats didn't cheat taping the walk through.... If Kasay....
  18. I think: that the 'single workhorse that gets stronger the more carries he gets' model has been mostly retired. It is more effective to use two hammers. The wearing down thing is largely still there with the OL run blocking but you add a fresh set of legs. Two sets helps them both stay fresh. Steven Davis vs Double Trouble? Who lasts longer? I mean, it is great to see a back that loves contact and inflicts punishment but it is rare.
  19. Finding out you can't hack it after so much success at a lower level, will fug your head. So now it's both.
  20. A lot of us have probably seen this in our jobs. I plied my trade for a long time and at one point worked some with a rich amateur. He thought because he whipped ass to make his money in business wheeling and dealing that he knew my business that I had been doing for probably well over 15 years at the time. Wrong. It was embarrassing and eventually I told him to lose my number. But that's the way things work too often. Actually he never learned but it was talent and skill based occupation and all the love you might have for it doesn't help much if you aren't able to perform to whatever level. Tepper does not have that hurdle, he only has to know he doesn't know. That's a challenge too though, as we have seen. I really am hoping he is being shown the light. He has been in trial and error school now for long enough.
  21. I read some of their board this morning. They also said Payton was still bringing heat late in the game to keep them down (and I saw a lot of "fire everybody"). I was really only watching for Rattler and didn't bother with the 4th quarter.
  22. Man, the Saints were for sure channeling our early 2023 there. That OL may be worse. It is uncanny, with the WR issues it just about mirrors us in 2023. I think the difference in Rattler and Young is that at least you can see flashes in Rattler under these horrible conditions. I mean, the pressure was relentless and excuse worthy for him. But you can see the arm, and the mobility really clear even though he under threw some stuff I don't think it was that he couldn't get it there. And I saw the football follies with the fumbles and stuff, but no one finger takedowns. It is probably like watching a lesser version of Stroud on the Panthers last year, more what things would have looked like. 5th round, except for the injury there would be no hurry or need to put him out there the first year. I want us to start doing what the Saints did, with Haener and Rattler. I wanted it this year. I wanted it last year lol.
  23. That is a stat that will be all over the place earlier in the year.
