He’ll get some early on a scripted drive. Then you have garbage time 2nd half, over 100. Less than 150.
-
The spread is all about getting the most bets down, and keeping the money as even as possible between both teams. More than an actual estimate of the score. People forget that.

They need the weekend to pack.

You might have to just to win a $100.

Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
strato replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I should have said other people needed it, because I knew. I knew you knew, you knew I knew, and we both knew at least half the people needed to see more because they hadn't seen enough to know that they knew - and told us all about it every chance there was. We did not want Dante any more for whatever reason and people were fine with that trade as I recall. All I remember is the ALL IN to support Bryce and find out he is or is not the guy Which the people who begged for him not to be drafted, the whole eliminating the excuses thing was just a formality that had to be endured. Like games 4-17 of the 2023 season. -

I am glad we got him. Because he did create space between him and the defenders. He did his part in getting us to the place we needed to get to this year. We know it isn't the WRs or OL with Bryce, it was Bryce. -
It has not changed from game one 2023. I can look at it now and it looks normal because of watching normal Bryce. He has conditioned people into a new frame of reference for what NFL offense looks like. But that first game I remember writing stuff afterwards like where was the deep ball? It's like they refused to call it. I was totally baffled by what I saw vs what I expected to see. Then Dalton threw it in game three, and that was it for another year.

Tepper isn't going anywhere either. A life with no NFL beckons, I hear it calling louder and clearer every season with him running poo. -
I thought Thielen was back? Trading him too?

Talent attracts talent. Where is our talent? OL and maybe two guys on defense and one is gone for the year? Add in that nobody wants to play for Tepper or with Bryce and that's two big things. -
32 arms for sure.

What would a successful game for Young look like?
strato replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
As far as I can imagine it, this was the reality: Tepper added a condition to accompany the hirings, and that is Bryce is your starter, make it work. I don't care how but you must make every legit effort to make this work with him. The drafting and the signings and all of it were dedicated to making the offense 'foolproof' - for lack of thinking of the right word. Just so strong that you could game manage it to success. They pretty much did that. Added to the situation is, these guys knew that Bryce couldn't beat anyone good out and if they got someone like that the players would see. Then you have that problem - the one they forestalled until week three when they just couldn't get away with another week. In my eyes and probably most people's, this whole thing was to take longer than two weeks. It was the theme of the season and the only real goal, Bryce proving last year was not his fault. Or not proving it. Even his biggest critics thought he would make a better showing. He rubbed the noses of his fans in it too, not his doubters. -
He won't have a helmet thrown at him, at least from DJ.

DJ be like, "Bryce again?" Get me the eff out of here. I'll go anywhere. -
It really goes away when you are behind the sticks. It doesn't even take a score deficit, just a yardage hurdle you won't clear with a run. Which we have seen a lot on account of pre snap stuff plus blown assignments. And people don't really account for it in the tally of the run/pass balance. 1st and 15, 2nd and 13, it matters.

Skip Bayless lol. He is smarm in a sports coat. Just can't take him. The adversarial concept of 'you argue this and I'll argue against you and we'll say outrageous poo to get attention', I cannot be complimentary to that toxic poo - I better not start. Oops. Skip was okay was writing for the Dallas paper, and I only say that because I never used to read the Dallas papers.

There was something stat wise that showed it wasn't really that bad, but another stat had them running more than expected, when playing from behind. So who knows. The OL seems to be out of whack with Christensen and the new ROT in there. Who really kind of sucks so far. And Thomas is doing a poor job at blocking that I have seen.

Well yeah. The hope was he would be worked in and be able to play if needed, etc. I know it is ahead of schedule for the green dot hat. One reason our d is so bad though is the middle guys weren't really a strength to start with and they both went at the same time. -

We need a 2022 Foreman next year. Or someone that will short yardage pound the LOS. A load. A Tolbert would be great.
