For me, I look at baseball pitchers for a clue about arm strength. Their m.o. is dial it back from full effort to get control (accuracy). You have to have an arm that is big enough to do that with. But what I see is Young giving 100% effort to get what the real guys can get while dialing it back a hair. There is a video of Mahomes and Carr that measures their velocity. When throwing at their standard they get accuracy. When Mahomes steps up for his fastest fastball, it sails big time. Which practically every Bryce downfield throw did. And people are saying "see, I mean he is overthrowing them, his arm is fine". Okay.

I for sure am with those guards out and we really have NO depth now. Makes me not really want to watch it live. Probably will.

I have faith in Dalton, I got better with age myself and he sure looks like he gets it. Hoping he stays upright. So happy to have an NLF capable pocket style QB. Hope the no name defense can hang.

You are welcome. There are probably going to be rural bridge washouts and a lot of high water. There is a section of the Waccamaw river over in Conway SC that floods large numbers of properties just about every time something like this happens. They are all on stilts. We didn't get much other than one big band off that hurricane over here but it was pretty strong. But it went through at 30 mph no time to sit and drop a large amount. They'll be flooded in a lot of places downstream. Probably in a couple of days.

I remember the whole 'can't run between the tackles' thing and the subsequent focus on proving people wrong. He is kind of a poster boy for overpaying over drafting running backs. To me. And if they don't use that, they are leaving something on the table which, after paying so much is difficult to do. He has the receiving ability and I'd have just gotten a D'onta Foreman and let him handle the grunt work and feature CMC on all else, if (I) insist on having him. I am not a personal fan of Kamara but he was a third round pick and has had a real nice career. Better production than CMC at the beginning too.

I think you are doing the devil's advocate for some reason. Maybe you are bored. Several? You mentioned two. Now it is several.... We're going to see, but he has a downgraded receiving complement this week, and downgraded protection. So expecting a replay is not realistic but I expect him to look like an NFL quarterback and the one we have that gives us a chance to win.

Considering those were no doubt top level throws, you take those when they come. I don't think you could say he can't make them; because he just did. So maybe you say he doesn't consistently make them, I say 'who does?'. I don't see how you can look at the overall total picture and say that was backup QB flukey stuff and he'll not be able to do that on the regular. I am for sure not saying he won't miss some throws but what he showed is if he gets the protection he got and makes the right read I think he can eat like a top half of the league QB. I am much more wary of less than perfect communication with the receivers as opposed to lack of physical execution.
