If I said more about why I see the league being part of the problem I couldn’t post. Still love football, my dad was an example of the difference between college and pro. He ended up coaching for several years. I went on a couple of visits for college ball but knew I wasn’t NFL caliber and had some pretty compelling interests outside of athletics and here we are. I went another way. Still love football but seriously falling out of love with the NFL. Have zero love for Tepper. edit: to stay OnTopic the wins come from facing teams that are down for whatever reason, that week. I don’t know how to know more specifics ahead of their random demises.

I just remember being ridiculed for dissenting on the Young narrative here. Which was he is ... well, y’all remember. Last preseason (excluding a little post draft bitching), since there was no pro evidence, I couldn’t talk until football was played on the field. Fair enough. We have 16 games documented, I can speak freely. The Young supporters hate that.

It’s like a traffic accident, but I can’t not look. I have taken to watching replays and and not live games, and just enjoying my Sunday afternoons rather than donating every Sunday to the NFL. Who I have grown to despise as an entity. But football is a lifelong interest and difficult to move on from, entirely. Tepper has pushed me to the fringes of fanhood.

I don’t feel horrible about the D. Mainly because I like Evero and the why is I think he can do more with less. And he got a couple of more guys he knows. Like Wilks back when he was a DB coach. They gave him poo to work with some years but he got something out of them. Pass rush... yeah that may be a weakness. I think the run D will be decent. Well yeah, and with this QB a pass catching back that can get his rushing yards is the right move. That I think Tampa Bay game where J Stew and DW ran all over them the whole game was a high point.

I was mostly anti Bill and Kraft. Those guys were the real villains to me. Brady was a 5th round cool story. I did hate the Pats and I did enjoy him getting messed with over deflated footballs. But the guys doing the real cheating were the ones in charge. They have dry run test announcing, people who analyze the demographics, production staff that helps them, prepare. I don’t think they’s have made such a big play if he really had no aptitude. But maybe he will totally suck.

Did not want him (that high). Taking him meant trading back up for the tackle who I forget his name, but I just wanted a tackle. He had foot issues, 1st round, I was like... why? He earned the return on that investment. Great player for us.

Young can’t benefit from any rah rah he does unless he can produce. No one wants to hear that from an under performer. So maybe if he can become a producer, a guy that his teammates have faith in, then you will see more. I figure he was pretty overwhelmed.

I don’t think being taken 1st overall tells Young he is too small. Fans thought so. It is a factor you can’t say it isn’t. The other guys overcame it. You seem to be proclaiming he will. Your opinion.
