    Bryce has had like, one really good game. A bunch of game minutes at a time success. Maybe a quarter here a half there.

    Yeah Dart was 25th pick. A trade up I think? They got Carter and then came up for Dart I think. I know this only happens every few seasons but given the bust rate of top picks that is my preferred way to go. Outside the top couple guys, see one you like, get him.

    Sacks are easier to get when you have an offense that forces teams to play from behind often enough that you get those pass attempts up.

    I hope that if we get 5-6 wins and Young is the QB all year, Canales will stand on the table for getting him his QB. I hope Morgan and Tillis are with him. I know… it sounds crazy.

    I feel you. It seems like they have found a good combination of guys and a good value system. The longer they (draftees) do well, the less anti Dan stuff we probably will hear.

    We have that now but without the every throw part. A good old fashioned pre fantasy scoring deep ball being picked is as good as a punt. A Fantasy scoring deep ball not so much

    I was meaning to look up his stats up the other day but got distracted. I looked at the box on Sunday and he wasn’t listed in the stats. It’s the quarterbacks fault don’t you know.

    And his three amigo cornerback draft. After egotistically rescinding Norman’s tag. And his spiteful treatment of Smitty. I know the financial havoc the contract was creating but his handling of it was low rent. Gettleman was low rent. I loved JR giving him the boot.

    Short fields limit yards. But 19 rushing in 4 qtrs is just not done. Ans there are likely teams up there that had a bye so maybe in reality we are a notch or two higher. All it means is we have improved. Which eyeballs can tell you. Like was said we have some tough tests ahead.

    I didn’t realize that. Cool. Even if the sacks are slow it is still really important to do that.

    To be fair it was acknowledged that they were bringing DB back slowly and what I read said the plan had been the 1st 4 games. Can’t remember where I saw that it may have been Persons, I read the Athletic. But I saw it a couple of days after I speculated that was what was going on.

    I think about those drat ratings. He is between above average starter and average starter. Closer to above average. He was above average some years.

    Well I don’t know about being the 12th best in the league it says we have given up the 12th fewest yards. But they have been better than last. 19 yards rushing A shutout. Couldn’t sniff that last year.
