  1. The only way Panthers have a prayer is gifts like that.
  2. 1 :33 gone, into Panthers side of the 50.
  3. A’Shawn was all over the place last week.
  4. Oh, you meant with us. I thought you meant the league. I think you and I both know Tepper wants authority and someone that won’t buck him.
  5. We'll see how that sounds as the day progresses.
  6. If he wanted one, yeah for sure. edit: He is like, the only offensive guy I can think of that seems to have the defensive side of the ball mentality.
  7. Nah, it would be the same as having Dalton, he wouldn't play. I wouldn't care, keep him as the emergency guy and groom another backup along with your starter. The money is guaranteed, I would insist on him doing something for it. Because I'm that guy.
  8. PANTHERS INACTIVES CB Chau Smith-Wade CB Shemar Bartholomew RB Mike Boone C Andrew Raym G Jarrett Kingston TE Messiah Swinson CHARGERS INACTIVES QB Taylor Heinicke CB Tarheeb Still RB Kimani Vidal S Alohi Gilman OL Jordan McFadden WR Brenden Rice DL Justin Eboigbe
  9. We are paying him too much to send him home and pay someone else to be the number two. You bring in a young guy, give Bryce the clipboard. You know how bad that guy would have to suck to have fans calling for the backup? heh this poo is s bad it is funny.
  10. I don't know about hairy but I like my football team to have a highly toxic level of manliness. The cheerleaders can take care of all the nice stuff.
  11. It isn’t to be September hot for one thing, which is supposed to be a great advantage, that heat plus the high humidity. LA came in Friday. Is it going to be windy? We over on the coast, have pretty good winds gusting today. Headwinds, crosswinds, would not help those ducks fly. The whole team was embarrassed but the D is kind of a shell of a D at this time so, I expect them (LA) to play conservative and lean on their defense. I’m looking forward to seeing how XL looks and how the OL handles the pressure.
  12. Bro that alt is funny. I like it.  But, that probably isn’t the best thread for that to go in, the guy lost his dad. It ain’t a humor thread to him. Just sayin’

  13. Finesse is great but the thing I see with the X and O guys is often that their teams lack toughness. Yes. You want the players to be tough and if you’re all cerebral in your approach you can leave that out of your recipe without realizing it. I guess the team takes on the personality? fug now I am getting concerned because Canales just doesn’t give off toughness. At l least not much in front of the cameras. He needs to dial up some poo that these guys can execute. And quick,
  14. I am willing to be patient with the coaching staff and Morgan because yep they are not playing to the scoreboard so much as the drawing board. I do need to see a reason other than tanking to send Young out there if he doesn’t start getting better results. I don’t mean wins, just helping rather than dragging it down.
  15. I’d want to run the same play they ran 1st last week, just complete it. That would be a confidence boost for the QB. Of course, you cannot fug it up. I’m no football coach it might be the worst thing you could do, but playing safe isn’t going to boost his confidence. It might set up play action if he can execute it.
  16. There is a healthy amount of FoMO involved. Understandably. I didn't even want him, like at all, but had no thoughts of it being this bad so far. And I don't he should be. edit: maybe it is like I was afraid of, the margins are so slim and if you are a millisecond short or slow it could cost you something on every play. And he isn't tall and fast.
  17. No poo, we got that now. But I know what you mean. People not perceived to be generational at draft time can turn in generational careers. I think I said this, maybe not here, but I use the G word to describe what I see as a sure thing. The player that nobody is trading away from drafting.
  18. In that case I will be rooting hard against him.
  19. It is easier when you aren't shopping hungry. Peppers was a pretty great use of a high pick when others wanted QBs. I have not watched much college, just a few minutes. But Peppers was generational find another one you can't be but so wrong. I just don't want to pass on another CJ Stroud, it would kill the last bit of love.
  20. Lamar Jackson was the 32nd pick. We can play this top of the draft game with quarterbacks but there are enough that were taken deep, that worked out fine. If the guy there at number one is not generational someone will likely be fuging up. Let's not be that team. Again. I haven't watched any of these guys eyeing them as prospects yet but if there is generational, snatch it. I guess Manning could have that label given he was born into Archie Manning's QB factory. We probably won't go 1-16 in 2025 though, I sure hope.
