I am willing to be patient with the coaching staff and Morgan because yep they are not playing to the scoreboard so much as the drawing board. I do need to see a reason other than tanking to send Young out there if he doesn’t start getting better results. I don’t mean wins, just helping rather than dragging it down.

I’d want to run the same play they ran 1st last week, just complete it. That would be a confidence boost for the QB. Of course, you cannot fug it up. I’m no football coach it might be the worst thing you could do, but playing safe isn’t going to boost his confidence. It might set up play action if he can execute it.

Lamar Jackson was the 32nd pick. We can play this top of the draft game with quarterbacks but there are enough that were taken deep, that worked out fine. If the guy there at number one is not generational someone will likely be fuging up. Let's not be that team. Again. I haven't watched any of these guys eyeing them as prospects yet but if there is generational, snatch it. I guess Manning could have that label given he was born into Archie Manning's QB factory. We probably won't go 1-16 in 2025 though, I sure hope.
