The game thread is stream of consciousness. I may or may not have made a tasteless remark I don’t recall. I know that my reaction was mixed, , not sure if I thought it was a positive or a negative in terms of.the game. What I do know is we don’t need him hurt in the middle of a year where the jury is looking to come in on his future. fug that we need him playing and healthy so it is a fair game evaluation wise. That is absolutely the most important thing in my mind by a large margin. I am not happy he is hurt, at all.

They scored huge off of us. But when it came to QB they screwed themselves just like we did. Except they had a few more of our picks to wipe their tears with.

I mean the only ding on him is lack of longevity but it was injury and he had 7 years I think of dominance once he was in the middle and defensive captain. He was generally acknowledged as the best of his generation. I know Wagner was very good too. I think he should be a lock but you know we’re the Panthers.

My only conclusion about that is they either thought both were worthy or Bryce was worthy. Frank’s reaction hints that - if they were straight with him - they thought either would do. My opinion was that neither was worth doing that trade but that was before I even ‘scouted’ them I am just against that type of move regardless A firm policy If you can trade for the pick, it likely isn’t a generational player in the first place, because people don’t trade those. I wasn’t one of the people saying he was the best pick. I am generally willing to give guys a couple of years. I am sort of fanning this class though. T Mac seems legit. And the people behind him are contributing. I understand the bar is a bitlow. Getting on the field is easier here than in years past but I think we are raising the floor if nothing else.

Kw I won’t rule out that he was just kissing Tepper’s ass with the Bryce support. It is all so weird and hard to understand. I mean how anyone could think he was worth that trade and the 1st overall, was something I couldn’t understand.

Never heard about the teammates thing but later I read him saying JR or Fox was having him monitored, followed around town something like that and he got pretty upset about it.

Like everyone else is probably fair but not in h the way I think you mean it. Because I for sure enjoyed the Dallas game more than any game in years. It was a great game. The winning record is pretty cool despite my belief that it is only a temporary situation. Being a game out of 1st in the division is also cool. But let’s be a little careful about counting our chickens and that definitely goes for Bryce Young too. Also watching the young guys contribute is satisfying. Lots of stuff. There is a saying ‘don’t let the good times fool you.’ I am not gonna get fooled.

Uh you can cut that down to 6 quarters. His first half against Miami was not too good.

It seems to be on par with using players as step stools to jump up and. block a kick and that sort of contrived bs.

I don’t know if I am. But I have read some good review s this year. I haven’t watched him close myself.this year. It is on my to do list. Last year I watched him closely like rewinding plays and stuff for three or four games and he was just not good. I couldn’t see what Dan must have seen in him at all. He has graded out high and people praise him so I figured he was gojng to be serviceable at least.
