  1. To me that is still a young man. I admit when I was 36 that wasn’t my opinion He is closing in on that change though. everyone is different. We probably all known people that seemed fully mature in their 20s. Cam is still acting like a big kid though it seems like. As if I know him right, it is just my impression.
  2. It is pretty weird. Yep. I was probably starting to chill by then. Early 30s though I did equally foolish stuff and probably worse.
  3. Okay so given that what would they look like with one of them playing next to a more elite type? I am thinking along the lines of Shaq and Luke. Not that we will get a Luke but someone obviously better than Wallace next to Wallace.
  4. He is still a young man. Still prone to acting like it. He will eventually grow out of some of that foolishness That is the sort of thing that could blow up on you in a bad way. I mean if anyone is looking for a reason to mess with his job that could be made into one. Some of the people making comments were funny as hell and I don’t mean the nasty ones. There are some funny people in there. If you are gonna be all sensitive maybe don’t read them
  5. We may learn a couple of different things on Sunday. Or rather have a couple theee questions answered. I am like, Dalton wash level, Canales play calling will it contrast or or not, maybe something else. Should answer some defense questions too.
  6. Well start one of whatever and show off your big old brain for us uneducated idiots. I will give a ducking hint; when you start calling people names you don’t have an argument.
  7. Complaining about the complainers. Beaten horse meet your horse beater. Tell you what. Start an I love Bryce thread and I won’t say a bad word about him in it. I doubt that would satisfy you but go or it.
  8. That’s it. I mean I do t think he is the future but we are this deep in the hole so we are kind of forced to give him the last ten games to tell us through his play, what he is. I am trying not to become a fan and attached because I don’t see it. And he is.a good guy and has great attitude. if only he had the body and tools for it he might be perfect. But that isn’t the situation and I don’t want to like him and then know I need ro fire him.
  9. I guess I have to say again what does he have to do with the issues facing us concerning Beyce? Other than nothing. He gets brought up now by butt hurt Bryce supporters who held the grudge for two years and think that somehow we give a poo.
  10. I Well things can change. He has plenty of help now and this is his shot in my opinion. It won’t get any fairer to him than it is this year. And we are going against the division 5 more times plus some contenders. It is a good test. Kind of have to let it play out. I lnow that personally I need to see something I think is not a blip but is repeatable on a consistent basis against challenging competition. High bar not low bar.
  11. As of today what do you figure the odds are they do that? I am thinking he really has to mess things up before they would even think about it.
  12. That isn’t how I would describe how we ended with Bryce. But I’ll spare you me repeating that.
  13. Yea I do. I was one of them. But how he plays, on another team has zero relevance tk how Bryce Young is playing. In what way could it? That stuff is way in by rear view now. For most people. personally the extent of my interest is if I am browsing scores I will see how Stroud did but or maybe if a game was on I’d look at it just to see but I do that with other players too. oh .. tbe victory laps. I saw that. I said my piece before the draft. Probably pointed out how he was looking but it is 2 years later awe are stuck with Bruyce. And the debate now is no longer who we should have taken but is he going to ever prove himself.
  14. That last thing is a bad trend. It has happened in three different seasons now. If it isn’t a trend, is it a tendency? Words…. What I mean is following a successful outing (and they are rare or scarce) with a stretch of bad outings. The slow starts individually are slow starts. Looked at as continuations of the string that started game 1 2023, there is a pattern that may or may not be predictive. The first game people said that he turned a corner, Green Bay 2023, was followed by those two shutouts to end the season. Then continued with the two horrific outings that had AT throwing his helmet and Canales benching him. That’s 4 straight after 1 good. The next one I would give him high credit for is the Atlanta game. One of his two best IMO. He followed that with this year’s opening stinkers putting the team in a big hole. It is so up, then back down. His other best game was vs Dallas this year, I think the best he has played start to finish, he followed with an uninspiring performance against the Jets. I was half waiting on him to give that one away more than go win it, which was just a feeling, but then he got hurt. And here we are. Just waiting for him to prove something if he can. He is going to have his shot the second half of the year. So we will see.
  15. Man wtf. Some mean comments in there but some hilarious ones too.
  16. Or they can see, and also don’t have to rely on imperfect transpositions of performance to numbers.
  17. Okay so none of that is the coming in in relief before he got back the starting job. Thank you.
  18. It did. It also got rid of a couple that could have really helped us. And it got us Bryce Young too. Impatience is a bitch.
  19. Talk about running yourself out of a great job… where is he now? If he had behaved here he would gotten paid. That is about as close to a fact as an opinion gets.
  20. Unprovoked is a word choice that’s for sure. If he starts playing well enough then criticism might be unprovoked. I don’t know what to say to this. People call it like they see it.
  21. That is probably an area where it aligns with real life though. Pretty general assessment.
  22. So? I mean seriously who gives a fug? I mean if anything, that is an indictment of Stroud. His play has nothing to do with Bryce’s play. Nothing.
  23. The issue I have is calling 20 yards a deep ball. It’s like saying jumbo shrimp to me. I know what the stat keepers call it but that is completely influenced by FF scoring IMO. I don’t remember ever hearing 20 yards was a deep ball until pretty recently. I know people hate this argument but fug it I hate the shift to this lowered standard, and even see game casts now where it says pass complete deep for 18 yards. WTF.
  24. He does have a little clutch but so much inconsistency. And against bad teams still. I want a break from watching him yes but at the same time I know he needs to play because we are getting to the the challenging part of the schedule and the biggest tests are in front not behind. We need to see what he can really do. We very much need to see what he can do against a good defense. In non garbage time
