  1. He is good no doubt. Ran very well all season. But we have a very good OL it will have an influence on his success. Especially with a real QB that can back the defense off and give him some room, which was not the case until they got Bryce out of there. Those are reasons that when you his talent to it, he looks so much better than he did. Not to discount the man, he is very good.
  2. I'd rather watch the kids at Cam's QB camp than Bryce.
  3. They could not afford to do it without some major, I don't even know what they could do. The only way it works is next league year with a post June 1 designation if I remember right. Feel free to straight me out on the cap details if that is not correct.
  4. If they are gonna play Young may as well trade him. But otherwise it is exactly what to say if you want the best price.
  5. Let some other fan base suffer through that poo. The question was already well answered.
  6. Enough with fan abuse. They do that I'm probably out for good. I mean, Legette didn't even get a target vs LA.
  7. It will cost something one way or the other unless there is some total FA or UDFA out there that is hiding from every other team. It will cost what it costs which I wouldn't want to be a ton, but just don't fug it up. Make the right move.
  8. That 2023 draft was so disheartening. Pissed it all away like a drunken sailor, and left the bar owing a huge tab.
  9. Yeah on the QBs, we have seen how bad it is if you force it just because you don't like what you have and think well we have to take this guy because maybe we don't pick this high again.... but you will be picking that high again when you do that poo. We have to learn to keep our powder dry and wait for the right shot. Have some nerve. Not the foolhardy damn the torpedoes shoot for the moon crap they have using as their template. That could mean suffering through another uncertain season but the alternative is not preferable to me.
  10. Not as much as last year, but we are just getting started. They will probably be better with some more reps as a unit. More film more correcting.
  11. They did. And a game of inches for sure. And bounces. They had that damned deflection for a completion and a 1st down. As if they needed luck.
  12. Yeah, that guy and on top of that, going further down the hole to prop him up so hard was the worst thing we have ever done. It was killing a fly with a sledge hammer type of propping. We needed to fix the OL but a lot of it was injuries last year. It’s hard to downplay the talent of the guards we bought but I didn’t think that was all necessary. We could have had a decent line without the over the top and kept the defense out of the gutter.
  13. Oh yeah, how could I forget that I just watched it again. That was some ole’ level whiffing. We have so many blown pickups where guys just run free - it is unacceptable. Someone is just standing there watching them run by. Oops. “I didn’t know I was supposed to block that guy”.
  14. I think I’d prefer a vet and start taking Rattler level guys where you can find them and maybe develop one. Also, treat the defense like they have treated the offense the last two years. I know that’s impossible without future draft picks given up but maybe they could try.
  15. I haven’t looked enough to go Bryce negative on Milroe but what I saw against S Carolina the other day said no thank you to any costly gamble on him. Get a game wrecker for the defense The others I haven’t looked. Won’t really look at any of them until they finish their games for the year. I want no preconceptions no fan feelings no selling me off of one good game. If Tepper allows Canales to make the call I may investigate but what’s the point if the owner is making the pick again.
  16. You know though, we ran the ball well but that wasn’t enough without some chunk pass plays, which we had. We got fuged hard by Icky doing two false starts in the 1st quarter I think. Maybe it was just one then but he had another. And Zavala too. You have to throw then. And 77 the ROT was not very good run or pass. Slow. People were cutting across his face. That pass to Thomas… man. Bad route, poor throw, worse decision. Can’t argue that. I just watched again.
  17. Man Millen is one of the ones I couldn’t think of when people were talking about bad all time GMs. He is for sure on that list. He was a good player thanks about where it stopped.
  18. Not arguing on something I don’t have much insight into, but how much do you think these scouts were involved in the Bryce decision? I am thinking very little. In general I think they do actually beat the bushes and attend practices and games looking at players and make their lists…. and then confer with the higher ups and the coaching staff, who probably cull the pool and construct the draft big board and the game day draft decisions. Is it substantially different than that?
  19. I don’t know that we need to call it mandatory. If the Right guy is there then okay sure. Even though I really do not want to have to do that. Again. I have this quiet hope that having been around the league enough Canales will have a couple of guys he has been admiring.. that may be blocked or just in the wrong situation. I guess the main thing I want to avoid is another sacred cow that we have invested so much in that they won’t allow him to fail or to be challenged for the job.
  20. I mostly saw them congregating behind the line to gain with eyes towards coming up to meet someone ahead of it. on the longer ‘to go’ downs. And crowding the goal line down close. I did not notice anyone much past 7-8 yards off the LOS on normal downs and distance. Probably more cushion on like, 15 yards to go.
  21. We need a short yardage guy, I feel like they completely dropped the ball on that one. I just rewatched the Atlanta game on speed watch looking for some things and not intending to look at Chuba but man, he was looking really good. Shifty, patient, and sticks his foot in the ground and goes when it is time. I don't like seeing him go but if this line stays healthy we don't need to give someone generational wealth to run the ball behind them.
  22. poo I just rewatched the Atlanta game looking for it. Let's say they fixed that.
  23. Do you know which play that was? Because I just spent a good bit of time watching and may have missed that but I didn't see it. They were 6-8 yards deep most of what I saw, outside the red zone and longer 'to go' downs. That's pretty egregious. I did get tired of watching in the 4th quarter and skimmed through a couple of series so maybe it was there? I did see confusion among the DBs on some plays. And sorry to Wallace but he didn't have much of a game. I don't even know or care what his tackle numbers were, it was how he looked getting them. Maybe I misunderstand his responsibilities and fits but he wasn't really running to the ball they way I am used to seeing. Just looked a little slow and not as physical as I wanted to see. Maybe he is thinking to much.... So on him I will echo earlier comments: he needs to work and get stronger this offseason.
