  1. He hasn't hired a Super Bowl winning coach. That will probably be the next plan, if this fails. I am not sure this will fail though if he will just stay away from dictating football stuff. Unless you believe they will really start Young for 7 games (which I don't and am sick of hearing about Bryce Young), the staff has asserted control and he so far is allowing it to be that way. If the staff really has autonomy, he has taken a big step towards being successful.
  2. The selling points of the Panthers would be generally, an offensive mindset from the coach. A chance to work as the number one and enjoy the focus and the ego stroke of being lead dog. And possibly a dollar or two difference in being paid like a number one over a sidekick elsewhere. That's about all I got right now. Things I don't know are how he likes the city, the coaching staff and his teammates, and how he views the near future of the team. Maybe he believes winning is not that far away, maybe he doesn't. edit: as far as money, how many of you would be happy with 19 million per vs 20? Some people don't put the absolute value of getting an extra nickel when you are talking about getting more money than you ever imagined possible growing up.
  3. I couldn't pie that enough. The SB or bust mentality is all or nothing, kind of like "perfection is the enemy of good". You said it better than I could. I characterized it as impatience. And didn't say it this way but it is a shortcut mentality I think, in a way. Don't want to take the time to build, want it now.
  4. For me it wasn't really that serious a proposition but more a way to let off steam and have some levity; because this Bryce poo is oppressive and not a bit of fun. However if we came with something really cool that could communicate to Tepper to stay the fug out of the football decisions, that could be good.
  5. It is time for him to move on to the rest of his life because the NFL ain't for him.
  6. I don't remember why I didn't like him, but it has proven to be a fairly insightful reaction to date.
  7. This coming from an immature person that leaves poo on people's posts that he doesn't like. And just fuging insults people. Yeah I am about tired of your poo. I mean, you seriously might be the dumbest motherfuger here.
  8. I get amused at the people that think a petition to sell the team could actually do anything. Like, how far have you thought this through?
  9. If we could trade down not too far and pick up enough to get back in at the end of the first, it is something that would interest me. Depending on what things look like by that time as far as how what they might be able to do with the picks.
  10. Too MUCH! But hey let's define and refine our message.
  11. Yeah no doubt. The counter to that is the Green Bay Game last year. The one everyone used to vouch for him, and it came after he had been 'ruined' for 13 games. How ironic, the very game they used to prop him up is the game that 'ruined' their narrative. There were only two games left and he wasn't ruined then, obviously. Came out for 2024 and was as bad as you will ever see for two games to get his ass sat down. After that Buffalo drive and all that. Let them think it is the Panthers' fault he can't play.
  12. He cared enough to stop in and pull a guy's hat off his head though. And that sign generated a lot of publicity. It *could* take on a small life of its own if it was an attention getter. It would better to be like a fun riddle that once people figured it out they would talk about it. Something that grabs eyes easily but doesn't go explicitly 'there' could have some build up. I mean you don't want to elicit sympathy for your target because you are crass about it by being too blunt.
  13. We'd be keeping him then. But the thought that he is the only legit commodity on the market could play to the team's advantage.
  14. If he would actually run the script, that could be entertaining. He'd probably just check it down or bail and sail like usual.
  15. I feel like he is the best shot we've had. I mean, benching Bryce is Alpha even if he sounds like a metro when he talks.
  16. He owns his sign probably. Yeah if we came up with a super cool and conversation starting presentation that was law proof I have $20 as well. It is more fun to think about than Young coming back for 7 games. Or a series. Or talking about him at all. They won't let us have any peace. No Dalton No Peace? Looks like we have about 4 weeks or so to time it up for maximum effect.
  17. It would come down to how he feels about playing for the Panthers. Sticking 9 out there not throwing to him for any more games would be probably be an enthusiasm killer.
  18. This isn't really serious it's hopefully a fun way to vent and stay off of this dark cloud 9 we are under.
  19. The big boys pay retainers and just pick up the phone. But there is a way to do something that criticizes him and gets the don't tread on me any fuging more message to him where if he messes with those people it isa bigger PR problem than they like to have. Then your ass is paid off.
  20. Yeah. And the coaching and FO turnover is a huge setback due to player fits and all that.
  21. Yeah people think he is hated personally. No. Just on the field. On the team. He is great little mascot and if he would stick to that, no problem. .
  22. Maybe he went to a FREAK OFF. (I was thinking about marital discord and an argument over the assets, Nicole might help us out)
