Dianna Russian: several teams interested in Bryce Young
strato replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well, there are degrees. At this point I am not sure who would be uglier between Young and Plummer. Plummer probably isn’t getting much work right now. -
I might simplify that to 'stuck his nose into coaching/gm business'. That was the first big one I think.

pretty sure Plummer isn't ready, this could be ugly. -
There probably weren’t any area scouts making calls on Young in the first place, you know? I bet they would have made a better decision if they had been allowed.

Peevy was our sack leader I think, lol. Lawson was bad. Slow slow slow.

Just smarter on the common sense. I am not a scout and don’t claim to be a smart evaluator of college prospects. It is the freaking NFL and there has been no successful player at QB the size of Young in decades. Pre Super Bowl mostly (maybe Flutie who just kills Bryce on arm strength). No NFL arm, his mechanics were horrible and ugly to be honest. Tippy toes and jump throws. No speed that separates him, no quickness, no size. WTF does he even have? Honestly. None of it stands out except in the wrong way. You did not have to be smart to see this.

That is pretty much exactly as I had it figured. It totally fits everything we saw.

Imma start saying irritating poo about the Sanders family if this keeps up.

Refuses to put a grass field in. Refused to keep the coach they wanted. Drafted a huge failure at QB and made everybody play with him. Couple of things that aren't positives. But Bruce just sucks, Tepper or no Tepper. And what was that up there about if they missed on Bryce? Hell no I don't forgive them it was as fuging obvious as anything ever has been football wise. If I am in charge I am firing whoever thinks it is a good idea, before it can happen.

The Carolina Panthers should go back to Bryce Young

Okay I thought had concluded the cap acceleration would make it undoable. Go for it. Russini, she is just fixated on the little feller. Seems to use the 2023 narrative for the p[resent day situation. But she said this: Talked to someone who coached him and he can absolutely succeed in the NFL. I am guaranteeing that would be Bill O'Brien she talked with. Has to be. Who the hell else would say that? -

Yes he easily can. So how would that work with our cap status? This is likely just more media bullshit. -
Every season, same stuff. Fire everybody, get new players. Every season except this season has been a revolving door at QB. Coaches.

Anybody suggesting we play him knows it is an unpopular opinion and needs to be ready for pushback. It ain't no mystery Bruce is history. -
This is the most impatient bunch I have ever seen in sports.

Yeah there is. He sucks and just about everybody wants him off the team as soon as finances allow. Or I could use the excuse that we would ruin any value he might still have. Either one is fine. -

No thanks to Donnelly click bait. Youth or not. Absolutely zero need to see him and be reminded what a fuging disaster he has been. -

There isn't enough upside to make it tolerable. We have suffered enough. -
It would be “what else are you giving us?” I don’t have hopes of getting much but it probably is a better chance to unload him in the offseason. Fields I think we’d pay too much just because he might be an attractive UFA. And he is a QB. $$$$$? I just don’t feel like he is a great bet, more like, well ‘it could happen’. But unsure. Makes it a price thing. What am I willing to lose?

Have You Ever Taken a Hiatus from This Team?
strato replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fan since season 0. Disliked Tepper as the new owner within the first year. Gave up in ‘20 and stayed gone for ‘21. Came back for the best year we’ve had under the asshole in 2022 only to watch him flush 5 years down the toilet with that Young brilliance Before this season I had promised unless Young went to crossroads and made a deal - and poo did a 180 - that if they kept putting him on the field I would not do another season. At this point if he is on the 2025 roster I may bail. A positive is we are right there for the first pick without having to watch him play I turned the channel both times he came in late and hope I have seen the last of him. But I thought we’d have to play him all year to suck this bad. -
Are we now actively pulling for David Tepper to fail?
strato replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't doubt any of that. If you own the business, whether or not you are an asshole is secondary though, inside that business. We can't all quit like his employees though. Well, we could, and I'm not sure I won't. He is on his last chance for me, life is too short to 'keep pounding' my head into the wall while hoping it will magically change. -
The baddest ass non one dimensional pass rusher, that is 100% healthy and ready for the NFL when the season is done. Next pick, defense. Next pick, defense. And so on. I definitely know we need a stud TE but we need the defense to be restored to NFL average, minimum.

If I had a serious message to Tepper, that wouldn't be "fug you" lol, I think I know where to start. Chuck Knoll. Bill Cowher. How many years was it? Next is where I list every freaking coach every coordinator (system) every GM that has been through here in his term. And (he) came in making a big deal about emulating Pittsburgh specifically because of the coaching stability. Listen Dave, that team and those coaches had crappy seasons. They really had crappy players at times. Did they fire everybody or did they fix it? I'll turn it over to someone else.
