Wouldn't be the first time.

I loved the guy because I was in football no man's land with no team and make no mistake, he got us this team. I sent an email to him through the team site in 2003 to congratulate him and thank him for getting us a team, just a short note to give him some love. I got a hand written letter back from him. Who does that? Yeah he made mistakes and did things we didn't agree with at times but we were so much better off with someone that played in the league and understood players.

One thing you can count on, it can always get worse lol.

Having biases is something that comes from life experiences. Survival instincts type of thing at times. Everybody has them. Like, I am biased against tiny QBs.
-
It's beer number 4, I'm starting to think they are going to win.
-
It's late so not taking it all in but commenting on something to give you some feedback.. that thing I bolded, it isn't that much to worry about. This year is a wash for everything, you know, but the QB. I think what could be important to what we are seeing on the field is, guys are being added at the 11th hour because of this waiver position perk, so there is going to be some lag. (they are new and not really worked in). That should settle down some if they can find some keepers.

People probably don't understand it. Geographically? I live in SC and that high school is just some place way out west to be honest. Never felt the need to map it.
-
yeah. LOL. They are supposed to have those two fangs on the uppers - they have never seen a cat? The eyes are good. Rabies Panther.
-
yeah. There was also that undisclosed racist thing. There was no accounting of that for us to review whether we felt he crossed whatever line he might have crossed. Secret police type of stuff. 'Trust us he iz very bad man'. Proof, how about it? It seemed like a hit job. He was old and feeble at the time, he didn't fight it. Maybe because they had him, but maybe because they wanted someone else in his place and told him how it was gonna be. Then you add in that we have Lynch talking about Navarro contacting him prior to his 49ers hire, about working with him if he bought the Panthers. Timeline is unsure and I am a suspicious type.

Probably why he gave it up that fast. He knew it would be uphill. All the coaches and support he had known were being replaced. He did what was right for him and you are right, it would not have helped us enough to be worth having him out there putting on the line. I sure miss the stuff he would have been able to do because he was the MLB professor. Ray Lewis was the big showboat and he could play but Luke was an assassin.

All the stuff boils down to you invest all this expense and time into him and the guy is struggling to look like an NFL player. I think the talk about oh he has to learn a new offense is overblown because they have said flat out they want to build off of what he can do well. What plays he likes. That is the mindset. Make him comfortable. Bottom line is: he is not doing his part so far. I happen to think he will do better... but he will have to do so much better and that is where I go cool on his prospects. His production and the actual record is severely deficient. And the supporters constantly move the goal posts but let's ignore that for now. Another year hoping he can get up to what? Top 24? Somewhere better than 24? poo, at 18 he is a disappointment. i say boom, or bust. That's what time it is.

Back at you. You are the King of the Bryce stans. Wear it proudly. You are crowned. I been wrong many times in my life and do not mind apologizing when I am..... Were you not on his butt like everyone else just a few days ago? Because I thought I saw you crossing over. If you didn't, well you should. But I'll apologize too.
-
You are the King.

That is definitely the essence of it. pressure is the enemy of that. It is why it is so hard. There's nuance, like, the question of can he do that is one question. The secondary question is would that even be enough? If not what's the point anyway? And the film.. why would they even need more of Bryce? if I were the opposing coach I'd say try not to hurt him. But there will be film on the protections and the routes so yeah it will get harder for sure. This poo is so sad it's funny....
-
That's assuming they are here. WTF do I know to expect? I may not be here either.
-
I wasn't talking about Morgan, he is gonna defer to Canales on that, 100%. And the OC, those guys should be better than what we have had picking them. All I am saying.
-
I haven't even seen him. I guess I'd agree if we have someone to pass the ball properly. Otherwise what is the point, get a defense and a running game.
-
I get the market has exploded. I know nobody wants to hear hopeful poo but we have two guys high up now that have that area of expertise. I will grant that rXL was intentional for Young, but looked okay. A bright spot. Maybe they can do a better job at it than the people who have been doing it.
-
I know we will need a WR and maybe QB, we have been shorting the defense now to the point it looks like we could give up low to mid 30s on average. That's pretty bad, but let's let it get worse. I know...

Are the Dolphins desperate enough to inquire about Bryce

That harassing bar owners comment gave me an evil idea. Mock up some fake images, make them look like signs on people's businesses, post them somewhere he'll (Tepper) see them. Hilarity ensues. -
I heard her say we have problems at multiple OL positions (?). She needs to make herself anther sandwich.

I'm not ready to listen to two of my all time favorites shine me on about Bryce Young. When in truth they would be salivating in anticipation of playing against him. Is that what this is?
-
Yeah one of the first things I figured out is if he can fix Bryce, get someone with real NFL talent and see what he could do.
-
Rename that S2 to the BY9 in honor of its quality as a predictor of aptitude.

No doubt Canales has an advantage over Reich situationally. He has all the tape on Bryce playing against NFL defenses. Reich did not. They have all the advantage in that regard. and though I am not in the hugest hurry to make the call on him and am resigned to losing in that process, I could have passed on this whole ordeal.
