  1. They have to get that hitch out. I have said, with no credentials past common sense, if they teach him the 3 5 7 step thing they may be able to avoid the hitch he has in his footwork in the gun. He meanders and lollygags with that 'scan the field casual retreat' that he loves... and then has the hitch when he does move to throw. It is no good and hard to change. But if they do that straight up dropback and teach him That... maybe no bad habit. Like y’all are saying. Plant, throw. lol then all you have left to worry about is he can’t see the field and that 'on the weak side' arm.
  2. I never saw a cooler play than in that bowl game. He never really lived up to that but hey, still makes some plays. He was like, ‘nah fug y’all we win’ end of story.
  3. I think we have maderr some improvements. Stumble to 6-11.
  4. The day before it gets to me that bad, which they are very close, you will see my last complaint. And no one will care. I am 69. My dad played college ball and coached high school so I have been around the sport. Did not need the money to go to college at the time, it wasn’t THAT expensive then, in state, and turned down a couple of smaller school offers as the thought of having to live in the dorms with coaches up my butt ALL year not just football season when realistically I was not going tp make the NFL. It goes back to my measureables putting me where Young’s put him. I saw him throw. He has a ton of other stuff working against him. Why is this even a question?
  5. I bet anything there were people who would not have hIm in the first round. They couldn’t come out and say it. Some have physical standards. If I were running a team we would miss on some people because of it but we would have established and quantified physical characteristics that need to be met. All wow he so smart and cute ...with zero 'hey this is the NFL we are talking about'. Political analogies are abundant but I am not allowed to articulate that on this ---- --- forum.
  6. All for it. They have wasted so many of my remaining years to enjoy the team and the sport, and they just keep extending that window like it is no big deal. I do not have a lot of years left. Get the fug on with it.
  7. They don’t trade the real ones. They stay in that pick no matter what. That is your first clue. You don’t need or get another.
  8. I just want them all to be crucified, hard, for their greed.
  9. We don’t even know if the QB can hang in the NFL and all this crap is being done to prop him up. And if they prop him up enough, THAT is supposed top be our guy. I really need better to have any enthusiasm at all. Honestly it pisses me off to going into a season with the likes of Young at the helm.
  10. Wouild’t you expect the O to take a step up after what has been invested in the last two drafts?
  11. Okay so when is that changing? How does it change, and how do we operate in the meantime?
  12. C- Dalton is out, someone else is in... pick your level of investment. Year three camp is open competition chips fall where they fall His contract isn’t cheap and is guaranteed. Is he too proud to back someone up? He needs to stay if he is being paid.
  13. I may be off on this one but I see so much bullshit in general, that has stats to back it up. You can twist numbers all around by changing the way you get them.
  14. With that new contract? Longer. When NFL money stops coming in, be wary.
  15. I am a fan of good defense and Evero has me in his corner. I think he knows what he needs to know (and has Dom right there if he could help him with something). The more players he has that he is comfortable with scheming for, knows what he is going to get, the better. Kind of, period.
  16. I am like, so what? It is the right thing to do. Someone is getting rewarded. And if we suck at drafting, all the more reason to take a flyer. Doesn’t have to be a third but you might do well using a third at the right time. RealIy I am thinking if you do your job and nail the first two rounds how bad can it be to miss later?
  17. Agree the up front determines how good you can be. Both sides. It is really that simple. The hard stuff happens when you match up with the same.
  18. I for sure understand what people are saying about oversight at the C position. I don’t know any more than anyone else, but believe pros should be given *some* leeway. We have seen zero results you can only wait and see. Like the QB that has given us poo for results over his first season.
