  1. Bryce won’t be out there. Is worse possible?
  2. That’s my problem. I like football. I can even take bad football I like it so much. Here ias the evidence. First time head coach taking the field for the first time, short handed... I’m going with that story line. I want to see the DL too.
  3. Yeah I have a super hard on for resolution. Ready to have things shown to me.
  4. I feel your passion through your words but I’m sticking with my rationalization. It is a few plays we are talking about. Being honest and not worrying about hurting people’s feelings: I don’t care if he never starts another game going by last year and what I think of his prospects in the NFL. I think we wasted it all: the assets, the time, the energy fans expend on the team, the time of many people in the organization and a number of the few good players we have.... I can keep on with that. But I don’t KNOW that they can’t find a way to involve him that works. I can almost picture in my head, but my XOs are not up to it. I like to think that a guy that’s had successful experience working with WRs and QBs is going to show me something. As far as the team and Young, I damn sure don’t enjoy the stringing it all out that is happening, but I have enjoyed barely a single thing since they hired Reich. I enjoyed the team with Wilks running it. At least it was 50-50. But anyhow none of this has been any kind of good for a long time before that little Wilks respite. But we are just going to have to wait and see. No point in fighting it, really. It’s gonna be season soon enough.
  5. Might be the rare trade that is good for everybody.
  6. A good history with a coach gets consideration that the average washed up guy might not get.We don’t know what it is exactly. Also works for the coach, with the good players.
  7. You would think. You could look at Reich and see it all over his face. Maybe I was dreaming that? (mis remembering?) and lol I had everybody over him. I am one of those that excluded him out of hand due to his stature and then we are talking about drafting him, so I had to look. Did not take long, I was out. He was #4 out of 4 for me.
  8. So why does he have it? He doesn’t need money. Just sayin. I’m mostly about the concerts and grass field stuff. I will say that bringing in an outside soccer team and treating them so much better than you treat your own people.... sucked. Putting concerts over your players, sucks. Dick move.
  9. You gotta hope the Jets week helps people evaluate people.
  10. I share you feelings basically but come back to the same place. He has 17 games to learn the offense. No pressure to win a ton this year, that I am aware of, anywhere outside the locker room. Almost everyone in management and on the outside is thinking just get on track, show us Something... So I am still placing his health over a couple of series in preseason. I don’t like having to do it or see it... but I get it. There is not a lot to gain by forcing it.
  11. Him not throwing, that was the symptom of what he did. Which was bloat and obfuscate and get 200 pounds or whatever it was, entered into the record. Everybody knew it was bullshit. Personally, I’d rather have a guy that would not play those games. He threw on his pro day, and there was for sure enough there for a pro to get a good sense of his passing abilty. As far as why they picked Bryce Young to invest ALL that in, you have to figure out why poo happens or you will see it repeated.
  12. I don’t like the soccer involvement much, from my football team’s owner. Dividing attention, resources, all of that stuff. The concert, as it affects the football playing surface? fug that I don’t care if you can raise Beatles, Michael Jackson and Sinatra from the dead for one last show... keep it off the grass field.
  13. Do you think we are dealing with a Mahomes? I know you don’t. My primary concern, by FAR, is to evaluate Young. That needs to be regular season. I want to see now, but I get it.
  14. Boston... it used to be a great place in the ‘70s. I hope the Patriots lose every game.
  15. If the team goes 7-10 and Young looks like he belongs on the field, to me not to the media or his stans, I’d be okay with not replacing him immediately. And getting a stud non QB with the pick like you suggest. (given the guard acquisitions, moving Icky to the right side would be a good idea... unless he suddenly gets a lot better too Regardless we need to start taking swings at guys like Rattler down the draft, regularly, or guys that have the tools but fall out of the top picks for whatever reason. And are sitting there when your turn comes up. Because, decent quality depth, and competition is back in the house
  16. Sounds great but what is picking high? 3-14? 4-13? Wow we doubled the win total! For me, he would have to become a star and it would have to be very obvious that he can thrive in the league. Short of that, if he starts in 2025 after no or marginal improvement, I will be moving out of Dave’s basement.
  17. Bro, I KNOW you know that Bryce and CJ don’t line up against each other.
  18. Yeah they were like the worst I think I remember seeing. Ever, in the NFL. Campen was proud I am sure.
  19. I agree with all (most) of it, have said similar, and we are gonna find out soon enough. If he does not screw it up by getting hurt. QB went 2-14 last year with a team the organization claimed was playoff caliber. Clown show is right for 2023, I am hoping they dumped the clowns for more like a crappy stand up comic for 2024.
  20. More my style... not Levis in particular, but the assets from trading back added to the non spent trade up assets, it is a really different picture. Plus you might not be compelled to take WRs high two years running, with DJ on the roster. And you have a decent shot in Levis.
