I don’t k ow how you are supposed to know with any skill player with this QB. This is, so far, probably the most pathetic plan I have ever seen for wining in the NFL and it starts with the QB. Maybe they can get a few wins and get better at the dinking and dump offs, flairs and all that…. Can block up a run game eventually with more reps which they haven’t had. That roll him out, he is not athletic enough to excel doing that in this league.

I totally agree on that square peg. I also pointed out many times that if there IS an elite at the top, you cannot trade into it. They will never do it. But you take someone who isn’t a horrible NFL QB and put them into what this offense will be in 8 weeks of playing together, and you will be able to compete. We have a QB that is physically overwhelmed.

I disagree with the concept of waiting for an elite QB. You go with what you have, and do the best with it. That actually works for people if they are good at their jobs. edit: who was Your elite QB the last time we had a shot at one? That poo worked so good the last time we went that route.

I mean, we had the 9th pick, and finished 6-6, which was momentum for this team. Tear it the fug down because 6-6 isn’t good enough. Because the 9th pick, is ‘t good enough. The guy that guided a train wreck to that 6-6, wasn’t good enough. The 9th pick WAS good enough. I really could not believe that professionals chose that guy at that slot after paying SO much to have that choice. I will never believe Reich wanted this guy I don’t care what anyone says, even him.

You cannot build with this guy. You can’t evaluate offensive personnel, you got to get this guy out if he doesn’t improve this year. use him this year. This is week one, the team will be better it they have 16 more games to practice against NFL competition.

I wanted to keep him. I saw good things coming into being from him his last year here. This is just week one though. Can’t go by it. Even with this team. Maybe especially with this team.
