Win total next year as we sit on NYE
Selltheteamtepper replied to mrcompletely11's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they move on from Bryce and keep the defensive pieces? 6 or 7. If we stick with Bryce and trade defensive pieces(more likely scenario imo)? 1 or 2. -
David Tepper appears to throw a drink at a jaguars fan

Notice how OP uses the word “appears” just to cover his ass, he’s on video throwing the drink at a fan. Everyone down to the panthers fans are afraid of this clown. -

The social justice activist bloggers who cover the team on social media cheered Tepper’s every move. -
We are officially Browns/Jets/Lions Era of bad
Selltheteamtepper replied to Jaxel's topic in Carolina Panthers
All the remaining Richardson pieces of the organization are gone. This is what Tepper’s organization looks like 2-15. -
Even Josh Rosen showed more flashes of we’re being totally honest. Bryce doesn’t even attempt difficult throws. Everything is quick to the outside. On the rare occasions he uses middle field it’s turnover-worthy. We don’t stand a chance.

When your team trades away the nfl MVP, an all pro receiver and the 2024 #1 pick for a kid who looks like he belongs in a chuckie cheese and 95% of the base cheers it on you don’t get to call other teams fans low IQ. -

Did he really work all that hard? Almost half his wealth is from buying bad bank debt before the crash and getting bailed out by taxpayers. While financing politicians who supported the bail out. -

Why is he attending every road game and sitting in front of the box? Winning teams don’t have owners who do this crap. -
The only hope is if he completely removes himself from football operations. The owner of the 9ers doesn’t even attend home games. Tepper likes the attention, does things for attention for himself, It’s cancer. And he’s installed a losing culture within the organization. Under Richardson there was a competitive spirit internally and people got promoted and recognized on merit. Now it’s like based on who knows Nicole and Scott, and other stupid internal politics. Tepper is a horrible person. I don’t blame the fans who’ve switched teams.

Panthers fans don’t understand how bad our situation is. No free agent worth a damn is coming to a 1 win team. Jonah Williams is a right tackle exclusively, we have Moton who’s better than Williams. The Bengals aren’t letting their good players walk. They have twice as much cap space as we do(75m vs 37m) They’ll just tag Higgins(20m), and we have nothing to trade for him. We spent a bunch on free agents last year and we got worse, teams don’t let good players walk, we need to build through the draft.

If there was a re draft when would Young be taken?
Selltheteamtepper replied to Shotgun's topic in Carolina Panthers
No NFL team beside us would be dumb enough to draft a 5’8 170 pound QB. During pre-draft I was listening to QB room w/ Jordan Palmer and they were surprised Bryce was mocked as high as he was. They said they spoke an NFL GM who didn’t believe the mocks, and said 90% of teams won’t consider a QB Bryce’s size. He doesn’t have a single trait teams normally look for in a QB, let alone a #1 QB. We were the only team who fell for the smoke screen. The quicker people realize this the quicker we can move on. -
You want Cam to take a Steve Smith role? He’s the reason we have Mingo. Have you not noticed a trend where the best teams just let their coaches decide who they want?

Breer answers question about Adam Peters
Selltheteamtepper replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I want a GM who is a lackey for the all star coach we hire. I don’t want the GM operating independently any more. It doesn’t work. Dallas is the only team that makes this set up work and they have everything else working in their favor. We’ve seen what it looks like when personnel and coaching isn’t on the same page. Give the coach the players he wants, that fit his scheme, that will absorb his coaching and give the coach a full 4 years. Do not listen to outside voices, no more former players involved, no more owner involved. This is also the only set up that will land us a quality coach. -
Aren’t we stuck with Jonathan Mingo, a WR with a 3rd round grade we took at the top of the 2nd, for 4 years bc the FO listened to former players on who they preferred? Steve Smith took credit for that selection IIRC
-
He didn’t build the playbook, clearly, for 30 years he’s had his QBs operating under center, we call no plays under center. There were many reports that Thomas Brown built the playbook, which would make sense with all the zone running. Thomas Brown was forced onto Frank by ownership, they didn’t want him hiring all his friends like he did in Indy. Brown was a running backs coach who had no business calling plays in the NFL. Tepper and the FO constructed a poor staff around Frank.
-
You can read between the lines on the Russini report and take away that Frank, Josh, and Duece were likely the 3 coaches who wanted him benched by week 5. He wasn’t benched, Tepper’s decision(weekly meetings) likely prevented that and Frank lost the team bc he was forced to continue playing him. Said in the report players felt Bryce was coddled. Any other rookie QB in league history gets benched by now but somehow he’s still the unquestioned starter?
-
If anyone other than Cam Newton was doing these interviews everyone would be telling that player to seek help. He said “I never smoked Marijuana a day in my life(lie), I just keep in on me bc I like the aroma” explaining why he smelled like weed. You want this guy as president!?

He wouldn’t be drafted at all. -
Capitalism? It says taxes?

You just don’t get it man. We’re 13 weeks in and we have seen nothing indicating he’s an NFL QB. His style doesn’t work in the NFL where you only have a 2.5 seconds. They’re saying they’re going to work on his footwork after the season, there’s a chance he can’t even do a normal drop back, he’s struggling with basic operational stuff still. Meanwhile peoples careers are ending bc of this. Coaches who had long track records of success are being fired and will never work again. Most our players have no market value anymore. Tepper’s decision is ruining lives
-
Is there any doubt if we just started Andy, or drafted CJ, and Frank was our coach for 17 full games we’d have 6 or 7 wins and Frank keeps his job? We have a bad team, but we were never in complete rebuild mode like the Cardinals and Patriots. The team is mostly just mid market veteran types. Frank honestly got screwed. He was made to play Bryce and Tepper applied tons of pressure to make it work, it was never going to work.
-
In the Russini article she said players were complaining about Young being coddled by the coaches but the coaches saying they can’t criticize him any more than they are without killing his confidence. The media for the first 10 weeks blamed all their asses for his play too. The other offensive pieces were probably heated. If I’m Adm Theilen or Tyler Moton and I’m having a decent year all the media is on me for getting not helping Bryce but I’m in film room and I see Young is the one making most the mistakes I’m heated. Their stock next time they hit the market is now zero, no one will want any piece of this offense. Tepper did all this with his decision.

Thomas Brown on wife's social media
Selltheteamtepper replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
And Tickets for Sunday are selling on the secondary market for .45c and we don’t have our 2024 1st pick. This has to be one of the lowest moments for not just us but any NFL team, ever. Tepper needs to sell, or take his hands off the wheel, before he is forced to move the team to London or San Antonio to save it, and seeing as he wants big public money for a new facility and stadium I can see it happening. -
You’re not imagining it, that’s exactly what happened. A wealthy spoiled kid from Pasadena, CA was catered to, shielded from adversity his entire life, now he doesn’t know how to handle it, and not that this matters but he does surround himself with mostly white people. I guarantee most of the people ITT and the people in Panthers media begging for people to treat him kinder A. Don’t watch the games anymore B. Don’t understand how the NFL works. NFL franchise QBs are held to a ridiculously high standard, In New York our situation would be Armageddon, he’d have hit pieces written about him daily. No one ever felt bad for Zach Wilson.
