  1. I don't understand people that feel the need to report and complain about trolls all the time. Like sure, report racist or offensive behavior, but reporting someone who's just slinging around stupid or controversial opinions is just part of a message board. Without it the board gets stale and homogenized. Some of the most entertaining seasons on this board have been because of quality trolls.
  2. He was clearly frustrated with the guy walking in front of the camera but I'm thinking he was already somewhat frustrated with the room based on something else that happened off camera that he sarcastically apologized for after it interrupted his answering a question.
  3. your video link is broken. edit: you fixed it.
  4. Yeah, tactically it was a big brain move. Too bad Amendola turned into a pro bowl punter out of nowhere.
  5. Exactly. They're just trotting someone out that they can trust to field the punt until Shi comes back.
  6. Carter had quite a few nice run stops for no gain.
  7. Yeah, I mean, that's pretty much what I was saying. I know it's all basically a semantical argument, but denying the reality of it isn't doing anyone's argument any favors. I was just trying to point that out. As I said, it was a great throw. It showed off his arm strength while throwing in tandem with solid pocket awareness while eluding interior pressure.
  8. Yeah he was pretty terrible. I've seen multiple people blame Paradis for the sack where he was getting bull-rushed backwards and while terrible in it's own right, the sack actually came from the edge rusher that Daley was responsible for and completely whiffed on.
  9. I'm not saying that it was a bad throw by any means, and I feel like I've made that clear. It was a great throw while moving away from pressure and anyone trying to overplay the underthrow into a large negative are being idiotic. That doesn't change the fact that it was a very slight underthrow and there's nothing wrong with admitting that. I know that you're a Darnold fan and you came here from the Jets because of him but you're not going to do yourself any favors if you're being intellectually dishonest with your arguments. You're just going to come across as an irrational white knight.
  10. That's not how passes work though. Sam's job is to hit the receivers in stride based on their running speed within the route. So technically he underthrew Robbie slightly, but on a long pass a slight underthrow becomes much more obvious because of the flight time of the ball.
  11. To be fair, he did have to slow down like a half a step. It's not to the degree that some are trying to make it out to be. It's not like he had to stop completely or come back to the ball. He was still able to keep moving in stride with only a slight hitch in speed.
  12. Shaq had an absolute monster game so I'd say him, CMC (my god was it good to see him back in action) and Darnold (a lot of positives to build on for him).
  13. Well the Browns are leaving a Brown streak on their undies currently. What a collapse.
  14. I honestly really like this version of the Browns jerseys. I've always mostly hated them, but I like these and I'm not sure exactly why.
  15. I was very happy with Darnold's play. Yes he missed a few throws, but so does every QB. He was largely very accurate. Misses tend to stick out when they are in the redzone and unfortunately a few of his were. I feel like our offensive play calling left a decent amount to be desired. We did a reasonably good job scheming around our interior line deficiencies but when we decided to go conservative (which I HATE, just fuging keep the pedal to the metal) we didn't call plays appropriately and we just stalled completely. The main positives that I took away from watching Darnold's play today were his movement within the pocket and his overall command of the offense. He was a little bouncy for my taste but he seemed very poised and stood tall in the pocket while moving within it fairly comfortably. He also showed a strong knowledge of the plays and where his receivers and outlets were going to be. He was able to recognize pressure and immediately throw to a spot that he knew a receiver was going to be on multiple occasions. He was able to do this with accuracy and without panic, which is a very positive sign. I remember one play in particular, he sees the pressure up the middle and immediately spins and flicks a dump-off to Hubbard almost by muscle memory.
  16. Tremble with a beautiful block there. I like them running behind him.
  17. I feel bad for the Jets starting punter. I see no reason they don't just roll with Amendola as a dual kicker.
  18. This defense is so goddamned legit though. They're going to keep us in games regardless.
