    He certainly won't make it worse. He's a very good veteran corner who's going to play mostly in the nickle/dime against the slot. While we've had some admirable play from others in his absence, he's only going to make the defense better imo.

    Exactly. Our line isn't really built for goal line sets. It's pretty stupid to even attempt them honestly. I mean I guess you can attempt to say that we need to keep the defense honest or whatever, but I'd rather just run plays that have a legit chance to succeed within our personnel.

    That interception by Jackson was legit awful.

    More so than Erickson. Despite that I'm honestly fine with Erickson. I'm not holding my breath every time he's receiving a punt and his awareness on chasing down the football after it touched the foot of his teammate was pretty clutch.

    He should have taken the sack but the idea wasn't as terrible as the result. He got hit while trying to shovel and then the ball also got hit as it was coming out. I think he could have pulled off the pass over the linemen had he not been hit. Hubbard was wide open.
