  1. Rhule subbed in PJ Walker for a series supposedly because of the package they were running. It resulted in a absolute duck of an off balance heave by Walker into like quadruple coverage for a pick.
  2. PJ Walker fuging blows. This team is a fuging comedy.
  3. I don't know that I've ever seen a coaching staff this clueless.
  4. The offensive line seems to be pass blocking fairly well so far
  5. The fact that we had two WR screens work in the same drive, let alone game, is mind-blowing
  6. Yeah exactly, Rhule isn't the coach for the falcons.
  7. Yep, my mother is fairly high up at Lowe's on the IT side and (currently in charge of the software side of hardware infrastructure) and she's had massive trouble hiring people because originally the higher ups were refusing to offer guaranteed remote positions post pandemic. They have only recently relinquished into letting her offer a hybrid remote offering after losing out on serious talent that they had offered positions to.
  8. These refs are absolutely horrible, have been all game.
  9. This team is just consistently so much fun to watch it's ridiculous.
  10. Yeah, I mean, I'm fairly sure that he has also.
  11. There's pretty much close a 0% chance that this happens. There's no player in NBA history since the last CBA that has turned down 5 year max designated rookie extension. It's by far the best money that they can get at that point.
  12. I mean he hasn't played all that much. Has he even been targeted more than 5 times?
  13. Since he owns it personally he can essentially do what he wants with regards to adding or extracting equity from the organization and let the accountants work the tax law magic. The only time that that's not the case is when a publicly traded company owns an organization ( like the Braves in MLB being owned by Liberty Media) or when the franchise itself is publicly owned like the Packers. Then there's all sorts of laws and regulations that prevent an influx of cash into the organization for various reasons, anti-trust laws, securities laws and the like. Here's a pretty good article outlining what goes on with the Braves and it outlines why many Braves fans have had misplaced anger with regards to their payroll since LM bought the team. https://outfieldflyrule.com/2015/11/13/the-atlanta-braves-liberty-media-and-misplaced-anger/ None of that is the case with Tepper however; he owns the team outright as he bought out all existing partners at the time of sale. So he doesn't even have the sort of partnership restrictions that existed when JR owned the team.
  14. I didn't concede that it for sure happened one way or another, just that it could be theoretically possible in such limited ways, but not in such a grand scheme that you have convinced yourself exists. I think it's just as likely that the good ol boy refs just didn't like Cam and what he represents and were fine with Denver teeing off on his head. Especially when the results is corn-fed Manning going off into the sunset. Regardless this is a fruitless conversation that I'm going to bow out of.
  15. It's like you didn't read what I just wrote. I said that it can happen in isolated or high leverage instances. IE single games things like the Super Bowl for instance. Just not consistently like you're trying to say. No one was fixing a game between two losing record garbage teams.
  16. I get that there's a chance that it can happen in isolated and high leverage instances but there is literally NO way that there's some overarching conspiracy to control every game or seasonal storyline. It's just not a possibility. I mean, I get that you want to make excuses for why we suck, but we just suck.
  17. Ooooook, whatever helps you sleep at night. We just suck and the refs are terrible. Two universal truths.
  18. Some of ya'll have jumped the fuging shark. Like I get that the refs have made some terrible fuging calls but what possible reason would there be to "fix" a game between the fuging Dolphins and Panthers? Like who sets up the conspiracy to get a win for the fuging Dolphins?
  19. Yeah, I mean you can scheme around it to a degree. Granted out coaches seemingly lack the ability to do so but scheme is only going to go so far when you are terrible in the trenches. I mean sure the Dolphins are out coaching us with similar deficiencies but that's not exactly saying much.
  20. I'm not one for hyperbole but I think we need to seriously start thinking about firing this staff and blowing the whole thing up. Trade some stars for draft capital and do an actual rebuild.
  21. Winning in the trenches has is and has always been the most important part of building a team. You have weak lines you're going to lose a lot of games.
