  1. Steven holding Zarzour's fuging wrist to hold the microphone in the right spot is killing me
  2. The real stuff hasn't really started yet but they seem to be showing the drills so far?
  3. Wow the last few pages of this thread were super dumb. Christ on a cracker.
  4. Yeah same. I also don't see the point in overreacting to the QB nonsense they have going on at this point. It'll flesh out soon. It's not going to stay like this all camp. And anyone who expected Corral to be getting QB2 reps at this point considering that they still have Sam and Baker on the team is fooling themselves. It might happen, but it was never going to during the first week of camp.
  5. I'm assuming it's just familiarity for now. Brady at least has a year of seasoning while this is Ickey's first camp. I'm not going to stress about it much prior to even the first preseason game. It's mostly an observe and then practice type of situation for Ickey so far.
  6. Other than a few brief mentions of Brady starting at LT with Ickey rotating in later I didn't see much either.
  7. I thought that was thoroughly enjoyable.
  8. Ah, well I suppose that makes some sense.
  9. Did this fuging guy just throw out the "I started for my highschool team!!" as some sort of attempt at credibility. fuging lol.
  10. Weird advertisement bots really putting in the work lol.
  11. They don't look glossy though. More like an eggshell or satin finish which I think looks great. I think a full matte would have looked like trash.
  12. Yep. Did a large renovation of an old biker bar that was being turned into an vacation rental for someone. We did all the demo and structural repair, interior framing, plumbing and electrical, deck builds and siding but he wanted to do the interior finishes (T&G, doors, painting, etc) and trim himself. It's been like 6 months and he's still there working every day that I drive past and if he had just hired us to finish the job completely it would have been finished within a month of additional time. Also, it looks like pure poo, I swung in to say hello and saw that he had all pre-hung split jamb doors and obviously had no clue how to make extension jambs amongst a myriad of other awful things, I just kind of walked about shaking my head.
  13. Also no, I'm talking about 3/4" T&G, which is what almost all T&G paneling has been since forever.
  14. No, just talking about T&G in general, old and new. It's very rare that the backside is usable. I've been a contractor for almost 25 years and have been swinging a hammer since I was 12 working summers for my dad. No matter the age of the T&G in question only side will have a bevel about 95% of the time, with the otherside being square edged and rough finished. So unless you plan on taking a router and sander to them to refinish them entirely it's just not something that can typically be done with good results. That's not even taking into the account that what you said about nail holes being smaller on the back typically not being accurate. Air nailed or hand nailed, you will have lots of splinters and blow outs on the backside of a nail hole that will look like absolute poo when turned around, especially if they were hand nailed with 10d nails like he's describing.
  15. This isn't really true, especially if it was installed correctly to begin with. The nails will angled through the tongue so they aren't visible from the front but will have blown out the back visibly and also almost always only one side of T&G has a beveled edge. (although some brands of T&G have a beveled panel side and the reverse will be Beadboard)
  16. The "ya feel me" is obviously a verbal tick for him. Much like "umm" is for most people. It's tonally the exact same each time.
  17. People on here were advocating for this shortly after we drafted Ickey and I maintain that it's a completely idiotic thing to do. Beyond dumb. Therefore I give it better than average odds that Rhule does just that.
  18. Not to belabor the point, but you don't have to be good to join the high school golf teams. They'll let anyone join. So even if you suck ass you can play for free every year you're in high school (and middle school if you live somewhere were they have teams.) But yeah, I wasn't trying to argue that it's not stigmatized or inaccessible for certain populations (inner city, extremely rural, etc) but you don't necessarily need money to start, just desire.
  19. I was on the high-school golf team playing with clubs that I got from a second hand store. We were pretty much the definition of poor at that point. We didn't even have a refrigerator a few years prior and had to put our perishables in the water trough that ran through the attached "spring house". We got to walk the course for free every day, 5 days a week for most of the school year to practice and played matches on legit Club courses. I went from there and played for App for three years.
  20. This thread is nothing but a sissy slap-fight between Sizzle and MrScot, two of the most self-righteous douchebags on this forum. It's pretty hilarious.
  21. I've always hated our fuging helmets from day one.
  22. If the "issue" that drives your voting choice is whether or not a politician will fund sports facilities you might be an idiot voter.
  23. Not really, unless you're in various design industries. Most use Windows based systems. IBM/Lenovo ThinkPads being very common.
  24. Yeah. I've spent plenty of time in Davidson/Cornelius. 3 exits down, but it's like a different place entirely.
