  1. Yeah, honestly if it wasn't for the cap hit I'd be perfectly fine with Darnold being QB2 for a decent stretch.
  2. I'm not aggravated, you're just not making any sense. The math just doesn't add up to us having to keep all three of the guys you mentioned and realistically the only one that I think we keep is Elf. If they do decide to keep either Daley or Erving, it'll be one or the other but not both, and I don't think they keep either, there's no reason to unless you think they're going to keep like 11 lineman and that's just nonsense.
  3. Huh? The math doesn't even add up to us having to keep all three with our current roster. What the fug are you even talking about?
  4. They both played with the same line at various points. PJ and Corral had the same line for the majority of the first half and same with the second half until the very end.
  5. Yes, every team is a few plays away from playing their awful depth. Also, I don't think both Daley or Erving make the team if, in fact, either one do. I do think that Elf is a lock though.
  6. He's our third string QB currently. He's going to play behind 3rd string oline the majority of the time. This argument doesn't make sense.
  7. I don't know if you've noticed but the only projected starter to carry over from last years line is Moton. It's a brand new line my guy.
  8. I mean, we will need some QB for the practice squad and I'm fine with that being PJ since he knows the offense and it would be an easy transition for him but honestly fug PJ. Cut him and pick up someone new.
  9. I've been making this argument all day. We will only keep 9 lineman and our top 9 aren't awful, only the bottom 2/3 are really below average. Our line should be pretty good baring injuries after they gel.
  10. Are you familiar with Lisfranc injuries? I'm going to guess not.
  11. Yeah, I mean I joked about Corral getting a phantom injury to stash him on IR myself in a few posts, but he was obviously injured. You could tell right after the play in the way he reacted and walked off the field.
  12. Yeah, or that. I'm fine with that also.
  13. He was clearly injured on the play so.....cool conspiracy theory you have there.
  14. Although I doubt it happens, I hope that we actually cut PJ and pick up some other teams cut to try and develop. PJ is never going to be worth wasting a roster spot on. He's reached his ceiling and it sucks balls.
  15. I really do hate this for the kid and obviously a year of practicing would have been the better situation but he wasn't going to be anywhere close to ready to play this year anyhow. Still sucks.
  16. Yeah, Moore wasn't ever very good, no matter how much his cousin TRD publically fellated him on this board.
  17. Tepper was there in the war room during the draft with them and seemed to be a very active part of the process leading up. I'm sure he knows their rationale for all these things such as they are.
  18. But he was generally regarded as projecting as a center and I'm glad that our coaching staff seems to be steering him in that direction. I'm choosing to credit the new o-line coaching for not being dumbasses like we've had in that regard recently.
  19. He's was a guard forced to play tackle on a bad Tennessee team with a bad offensive scheme and missed some time due to injury.
  20. I'd definitely keep Ricci over both of those two.
  21. I'm not sure that saying that Mays could be our future at C is writing Bozeman off. I feel like this thread is a positive thread, so I'm not sure why you're confused. I'm assuming Bozeman is going to start, but he's just looked average to me so far, but average is obviously better than what we've had recently. I just think that Mays has the potential to surplant him in the near future. I don't understand why you feel that's a negative.
  22. I'm hoping we can upgrade both through cuts but especially Jordan.
