  1. Fair. I used to spend a bunch of time down in that general area. I had family that lived in Brevard, Black Mountain and Highlands.
  2. Although much smaller I'm a big fan of Highlands NC
  3. Also, Charlotte has plenty of engrained disparity. Plenty. Let's not pretend that it doesn't.
  4. It still is one of the fastest growing cities. It's 6th to Raleigh's 2nd. Anyhow, I also have traveled and lived in a lot of different cities around the country. I never said that Charlotte was a bad city, or any of the cities in the state. It's just very generic feeling. Like if an AI was asked to create a city or something. It's a fine place to live. I live in the Charlotte metro area on Lake Norman by choice so it's not like it hate it or anything. It's quite lovely. I just don't think it's like some comparably amazing city to the majority.
  5. I was gonna go with Kinston.
  6. Also, you'll notice I didn't list any in SC. That was intentional.
  7. My favorite small cities in the state are Boone, Asheville and Wilmington. As far as the large go, as I said in the other thread, they're all very generic imo. Raleigh and Charlotte are just ridiculous expanding sprawl with no soul but I think Raleigh has more character and life. I live on Lake Norman for what it's worth.
  8. Yeah, that's just how it's defined now, for whatever reason.
  9. Right, regardless the team would never move to Raleigh obviously. It wouldn't make sense to put a Carolina regional team basically on the Virginia border.
  10. Raleigh is the second fastest growing metropolitan area in the entire country.
  11. Not really. The Raleigh-Durham-Cary CSA metro area is only a few hundred thousand less than the Charlotte CSA, and it's growing at a faster rate.
  12. Eh, that's all very dependant on the current success of the team. Go to a Canes or Panthers game in 2015 and these statements are inverses to an insane degree
  13. All of the NC cities are fairly generic to be perfectly honest. But I guess if you're just ranking them NC wise only I wouldn't have much argument. As a city I prefer Raleigh to Charlotte.
  14. There's absolutely no way this is true. No fuging way. I would be unbelievably pissed off.
  15. Those are all strengths of Stroud as well.... Pretty much the only thing that separates Young from Stroud are specifically the things he didn't mention - improvisation and, to a leaser degree, escapability.
  16. I don't see how you can say that describes Young over Stroud or vice versa. It fits for both. I feel like you're arguing with way too much conviction for such ambiguous statements.
  17. Yes, I'm aware of how it works. Worst case our rookie class is projected to have a net cap hit of around 8million. https://overthecap.com/draft But if we want to sign someone that we couldn't currently afford we can do more cap maneuvering. The cap situation is very fluid.
  18. I was absolutely OK, even excited with the idea of the Panthers taking Richardson with pick 9. They would be supremely stupid to take him at with the first pick. Baring a trade down scenario, I don't think there's any way that Richardson is the pick.
  19. I think Young processes incredibly quickly and is a bit more elusive in the pocket. I don't trust his deepball and his size is a concern for me. CJ might not process with quit the same snap imo, but he's still able to get through his reads and make the correct decision with plenty of quickness and he has outstanding pocket awareness without being quite as slippery. He also has an effortless throwing motion with a beautiful deepball. CJ is who I want all day between the two.
  20. The referee's aren't diving in front of blindside rushers to protect the QB or something. This is such a stupid argument. Just because a particular type of hit might result in a flag doesn't mean they don't happen. He'll take hits. His size is a concern.
  21. I'm 100% ok with that compensation. This is a very good deal at the end of the day.
