So far I've been fairly spot on. We'll see if that continues to be the case. I had hopes that Santoso would be the answer at kicker but that obviously wasn't the case. -
After a second thought I think it's just as simple as that he meant that our defense was an ambush that the Saints very obviously did not see coming and did not prepare for. God knows why I'm trying to critically analyze a poorly executed literary analogy by a sports writer for Football Outsiders

Yeah that's what I figured or maybe he was trying to comment on our disguised defensive looks. Either way he didn't do a very good job of tieing it all together.

I enjoyed the article but his trojan horse analogy didn't really make sense to me. In what way was the Panthers defense a trojan horse? He didn't really flesh that out well. Regardless the content of the article was worth reading

Definitely. Don't get me wrong, I like scoring points as much as the next football bro, but there's just something so much more satisfying about a watching a defense go out there and beat the absolute poo out of the opponent. Like ground into the fuging turf and beat into submission just wanna go home type of defense.
