  1. Regarding the helmet. If he's actively engaged in the play when he loses the helmet he's allowed to continue through that engagement. Now he did kind of stand there for a few seconds after he was no longer engaged before skating towards the bench but it wasn't really that egregious.
  2. No, Charlotte is literally where the money is. It's the largest banking/financial center outside of NY in the entire United States.
  3. Well I didn't mind the silver in unis near as much as I hate the goddamned silver helmet. That said I'm stoked we're actually getting the right blue back. That's sick.
  4. I see some of you are not familiar with Rodeo.
  5. Yeah, I was born and raised in Boone. I definitely wouldn't draft him until the 6th/7th just because I think he'll still be there then but he's a beast. He always had his best games against the toughest competition.
  6. I think Peoples is made for the NFL game as a power back.
  7. Like you talking about getting into your bed with that dried saltwater feeling makes my skin crawl. fuging no thanks.
  8. I lived in Brunswick county and Wilmington for almost 15 years. It was time for me to get the fug out. I might move back someday but I doubt it. I definitely had fun, but after all that time I realized that I don't really like the beach at all.
  9. Yeah, it's crazy. I was thinking about this earlier as well. It's a ground up rebuild at the skill position and it's fuging insane to think how much different it's going to look. But you can tell there's real football evaluators making decisions this time. They said "Ok, O-line is a strength keep it intact, let's use these other assets to reform and mould exactly what we want."
  10. Good deal. Goddamn, let's get the draft over with and get to camp.
  11. Tepper is a waddling little troll of a man. It cracks me up.
  12. Lol nice. I used to tresspass into the original Canon in Banner Elk all the time.
  13. My brothers were born at Sloop Memorial in Crossnore. Of course it no longer exists, but I'm sure you know that.
  14. Yeah, the boat launch that we used to use when I was a kid was the actual old highway into Butler.
  15. I grew up going to Watauga lake. As I mentioned before, I'm from Boone. I've had property on the lake before. I'm very familiar.
  16. wow that deep ball was really pretty.
  17. I'm really considering liquidating everything that I have and going on all in on this property. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/12-Lakeview-Dr-Butler-TN-37640/2059763147_zpid/
  18. No, I understand, but I think it's just implicit bias. As I said growing up in Boone, we used to poo talk anyone from Tennessee as redneck trash. Which is hilariously stupid in hindsight.
  19. Like I feel that Mountain City and Johnson City were in a very similar position 15 years ago. Mountain City has done very little to improve unlike Johnson City. Granted JC is much bigger with more tax revenue.
  20. I think the methy vibe might just be a euphemism for poor Appalachia folk? Because that's everywhere in the Appalachians.
  21. Johnson City has really invested in revamping it's old industrial/rail oriented downtown and it's beautiful and thriving. Chattanooga is very affordable, working class and fun imo.
  22. The eastern Tennessee towns are fairly nice also. Johnson City and Chattanooga, etc
  23. That said, I still prefer NW NC mountains to SW. But I was born and raised in Boone so I'm biased. Jefferson/West Jefferson is underrated. Really anywhere on the New River is great. Todd fuging rocks and there's nothing there but the river lol.
