Yeah well, bottom of the depth chart is bottom of the depth chart.
-
Moton, Icky, BC, Corbett, Bozeman, Mays, Elflein, Jordan, Tecklenberg
-
I mean honestly we keep 9 oline at most. and our top 9 aren't bad. You're likely looking at Elflein and Jordan rounding out the 8/9 spots on that list. I don't think that Daley or Brown make the roster. I also think there's a better than average chance we can upgrade from other teams cuts.
-
Brown fuging sucks. He had like two good reps all night, the rest of the time he was on his fat ass eating turf.
-
I obviously meant the next round of cuts. But thanks for being pedantic.
-
a lot of short stuff mixed with bad decisions and inaccuracies. His two deep throws were both bad. The one that was a DPI was underthrown but not complete trash and then the one that was an interception was god awful.
-
Yes, I'm aware. I'm agreeing if that wasn't clear.
-
Darnold has the best throw on the team and he fuging blows. So.....
-
As, I've said in many other threads, Brown plays fat and weak. He's awful and was getting abused every play for the most part. He will likely be a very early cut.
-
Yes, considering the other realities of our qb conundrum, yes.
-
A) we didn't really give up "assets" of any real value. A 3rd? Meh. It's a long term play on his underlying talent. B) I think you answered that question in your question. Because he's that raw. It's going to be a slow process and the staff realized that no matter the amount of reps that he got in TC that he wasn't going to be ready to play this year and to instead focus on those who would? I also think that it's likely that they didn't expect him to be quite this raw and had to adjust. Also, Rhule is kinda dumb.
-
Like, I get that he's been behind a terrible O-line at the end of both games, but he didn't look good with a better o-line earlier in the game either. I'm hoping, like everyone else is saying, that it's just due to a lack of reps and whatnot, but I think he's just very very raw and is likely farther away than we all had hoped. I'm not sure that any increased rep load would have made an appreciable difference in his performance for this year at any rate.

I think Corrall has the physical tools, but I'm concerned with his ability to process at NFL speed and honestly he just strikes me as not very smart. I didn't buy into the wonderlic score slander that was going around pre-draft but every time I've heard him speak and now by his play, I'm officially concerned.
-
Have you ever paid attention to Igo's player evaluation and predictions? Because whew boy do I have news for you.
-
Yeah, there's definitely going to be struggles but I think that putting Icky at guard and BC at tackle for the year as many are suggesting is just a terrible idea. It's hampering both of their progressions on the places that they're ultimately going to play. Icky needs to play LT and BC at LG and just let them learn together and build. It's not going to be beautiful in game one I'm sure but it'll definitely improve.
-
I think Icky getting beat on two stunts basically back to back is making people lose perspective. He and BC had a pretty good night otherwise.
-
The blocking by the actual o-line wasn't bad honestly, the problem was the TE Sullivan not securing the edge and letting the DE get outside leverage on him that busted the play.
-
Bitching about what-ifs and coulda shoulda bullshit is a waste of time.
-
You're going to see growing pains at LT, no matter how amazing a prospect.
-
O-line are at a premium across the league. There's a gigantic shortage of quality lineman. Free agent O-lineman are more often than not going to be very average at best or fuging suck at worst. Teams aren't going to be letting quality o-line walk.
-
But that's our savior Deonte Brown?!?!? Brown fuging sucks. I hope people finally open their eyes to that. He played fat and weak on almost every snap. He was just getting ass planted like a tackling dummy every play almost.
-
There was DPI but that was not a perfect throw. It was very under thrown. The only reason there was DPI is because the receiver had to almost stop to try to make the catch and the defender basically ran into him.
-
Yeah they mentioned it live. They said he limped off the field after the play.
-
Ebron fuging sucks, ya'll need to move on from that idea.
