Holy poo we had a successful screen
-
Our offense just looks all out of sync. Could it be because of a lack of continuity????
-
Foreman with some hands. Thank god we picked him up.

Chubba fuging blows. Catch the goddamn ball.

He was talking about how he likes to read Twitter to get a feel for the fanbase and Smitty and the other guy were giving him poo about it and saying that there's lots of bad opinions on there and he says "well you have to get through the basement first" So....no I don't think he made the comment that you think he did.
-
Umm, he owns a hedge fund so.....that depends on how you feel about that part of capitalism I suppose.
-
They always kind of have this poo talking relationship when on camera together. I honestly think that they both really like each other.

I'm not gonna lie I'm enjoying this Tepper interview
-
If you watch the draft day footage he agreed with the pick but you could tell it was just because he agreed with the positional value. I think Darnold has been his guy the whole time while everyone else realized that he wasn't the answer. And then once it was confirmed during minicamp and OTAs that Corral also wasn't, for this year anyhow, they got serious about acquiring Baker.
-
Oh I think he realizes the writing is on the wall and he's going to have to start Baker and that was obvious in the reps during the shared practices last week. That doesn't change my point though.
-
I feel like it's pretty obvious that Baker was not Rhule's decision. Otherwise we wouldn't be having this sham of a QB competition. I think once it was realized that Corral wasn't ready that Fitt (possibly with Tepper's greenlight) went and got Baker and now Rhule is being a crybaby bitch about it because Sam is his guy. This is also why there's the reports of drama in the locker room about the competition and why Fitterer was obviously annoyed with the competition while speaking about it during his in booth interview during the game.
-
What I'm saying is that they were hedging their bets but didn't really want to pull the trigger until they got some hands on time with Corral and then once they did, well they started to get serious about the acquisition.
-
I think they were interested in Baker and continued to have open lines of communication but I don't think they really began a serious pursuit until after rookie camp and OTAs.
-
I don't disagree.
-
Unless you really think that Fields is going to turn into a legit franchise QB still.
-
And let's be honest. We haven't really been in a great position to pick from the cream of the crop at any point since we released Cam either.
-
Getting a franchise QB is pretty much the hardest thing to do in the NFL from a personnel standpoint.
-
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
-
That's pretty much how I see it also.

Meh, every team makes mistakes on evaluation through the draft process. I still don't think we gave up much on the chance that they would catch lightning in a bottle with Corral. They just realized quickly that they hadn't I think.

Well, there's a multitude but I'm not sure to which you are referring specifically? The failure in scouting?
