I’m pumped but also a little bummed at thinking what might have been had Cam been on this team dor the Eagles, Vikings, Giants ans Pats losses. I can’t imagine we don’t win at least two of those games. We’d be a serious threat in the NFC as opposed to mixing it up with a bunch of mediocre wild card teams.

We just have the Cardinals number. Outside of 2008, they’ve been our punching bag.

Should have been a bit to PJ’s head there but he’s got to be smart. Took points off the board.

The Zane Gonzalez pickup is looking solid.

One of the most badass moments in panthers history.

Meanwhile, the bears linebacker who was bumped by the ref was fined $5k for looking menacingly towards the Steelers bench. What a clown league this is.

My expectations are low but my excitement is high. How awesome is it going to be to see him suited up in number one against Rivera in two weeks?

Talk about injecting life back into a fan base. This is exactly how you do that.

It’s a no lose from Tepper. If he comes back and balls out, you’ve got an improvement at QB for relatively cheap. If he fails, you at least appease the fan base and pump some life back into a fan base that is wavering.

It’s not so much that it matters that Rhule is one of the highest paid coaches, it’s the fact that it speaks volumes about Tepper as an owner. On one hand, you can give him kudos that he’s going to spend when he sees something he wants. I guess that’s a good thing. on the other hand, he falls right in line with most of the worst CEO’s and upper management I’ve seen. Promoting someone to a position of power in a company with no experience or who is under qualified. It’s a classic mistake in the white collar world that many organizations make and Tepper just followed it to a T. I guess you have to pick whether you are more excited that he will spare no expense or that you are more fearful at his lack of judgement. I’m the latter.

Rhules ship is taking on some water boys and girls.

Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis

Not even close. Around 35% of their listed value. -
You have anything to back this up? I don’t doubt it’s true but would like to see where this is coming from. If this is true, Rhule should be fired at the end of the year.

Tepper: Stop the Stadium from Being Overran on a Constant Basis

My PSL’s were taken from me to make room for luxury boxes. I was then offered replacements that weren’t as good so I took the cash. Honestly would have probably taken the cash regardless since my gut says Tepper has a new stadium within ten years making all existing psls obsolete. It also made the decision easy due to the fact that of the 14 years I attended games over there, we had five playoff seasons (8, 13, 14, 15, 17). It’s hard to call 2014 a playoff season, but I’ll lump it in. That’s a whole lot of money spent to watch a team that can’t even muster back to back winning seasons. I will never purchase psl’s again. New stadium or existing stadium. -

Local team. Will support them as long as they are here, but they won’t see another dime from me on merch or tickets until they get serious about actually putting a competitive team in place. If that makes me a fair weather fan, then pass me my wine and slide that cheese plate over here. -

You hit the nail on the head for me. I don’t miss it one bit. The game day atmosphere at BOA has never been great, and it is completely crippled by this organizations inability to be anything but a meddling to lower tier franchise (sans four or five years). -
I’m not really mad at Rhule or Brady. That’d be like getting mad at your two year old for pissing on the floor without showing him where the toilet is. Ultimately, if he pisses on the floor, that is a reflection upon me. Those guys weren’t ready. The majority of the blame goes to Tepper. The dude flew blind into the hiring process and got captivated by the next young great thing in Rhule. With all that said, he has a chance to get it back on track, but that ultimately comes down to him admitting failure and making the much needed move at the end of the year. In other words, the billionaire is going to have to do something he’s probably had to do very few times in his professional career: admit that he was wrong.
-
The quicker Rhule is gone the better. Dude has been over his head since he stepped off that plane from Waco. He’s not a bad guy. He’s just a sixteen year old that was handed the keys to a Mercedes. He needs much more seasoning before he’s ready. He may be a great retread for someone in about ten years after he learns from his mistakes here.
-
This staff and ownership doesn’t deserve the keep pounding legacy anyway.
-
Rhule has to go. He’s in completely over his head. It’s also worrisome that he has so much say in personnel decisions
-
His career is on the edge of being over.
-
This team is allergic to momentum.

Operation hurt Mac Jones needs to be in effect after that bush league garbage.
