  1. Nobody is suggesting the product has been acceptable, clearly it's been pitiful, not worth a damn... That said, the whenching & hand wringing is tiresome, any expectation that Tepper won't be involved is completely unrealistic -- would be an indication of cluelessness at the highest level, ever.
  2. I despise Spectrum and fired them (internet+cable TV) for T-Mobile Wireless 5G-Home-Internet service for $50/mo, including all taxes, etc... THE GOOD: The process of transitioning was mostly seamless, and the equipment T-Mobile sent me was of high quality. THE BAD: The service/product delivered is HIGHLY inconsistent, frankly, overall it sucks. When the stars align it works beautifully but that's less than 40% of the time. I ran repeated speed tests where the results returned indicated speeds in-line with the "browser" on a flip-phone from Trac-Phone . Ultimately I cancelled and went back to Spectrum for internet-only...$55/mo, taxes/tag/title included. That + YoutTubeTV almost gets me back to what I was paying Spectrum for internet+cable but the incredible flexibility of YouTubeTV is well worth the $80/mo and the untility I receive from the product is 3X the price I am charged -- and my expectations are insanely high. If you can access one of the fiber providers I'm told that's the way to go -- fiber service is not availble in my neighborhood. Cheers...
  3. Reminds me of what smart prognasticators were saying 18-months ago about The Houston Texans and their owner Cal McNair...
  4. You truly believe "inept sycophant" is in the set of possible outcomes as it relates to Dan "The Man" Morgan? Because that's exactly what you wrote...
  5. Really? What a stupid comment, leader in clubhouse for most asisnine comment in 2024! I thought it was a helluva press conference, both guys were great -- and anyone dumb enought to f**K with Dan "The Man" Morgan is going to be taught a harsh lesson!! Let's Get It ON!!!!!
  6. Weekly meetings. Play suggestions. Defense suggestions. Etc Oh, I see... ...things that business owners do everwhere as they manage the business, that, they, own.
  7. It's 100% clear that's exactly how you feel. In your perfect world the owner would simply turn up in the owner's suite on game-day and nothing more, right?
  8. "...typically..." "Typically" the 199th pick in the NFL draft doesn't start at QB in the Super Bowl -- screw "typically'. The cited report is pure speculation and nothing more. That said, the beauty of being the owner is you get to call all the shots -- Tepper is the owner, it's his call. Which owner do you feel is behaving in a manner that you approve of and want to align yourself with?
  9. So in your dream scenario would the Head Ball Coach ever even speak with the Owner? Or, in banking parlance, would there be a inviolable Chinese Wall between the Owner and the Head Ball Coach whereby they would never interact, at all, in the entirety of the Head Ball Coach's contract?
  10. i mean yea ultimately but Tepper has ZERO business interfering with their day to day work How many direct reports do you manage?
  11. What an amazing concept... ...that a business o-w-n-e-r would expect the 2 most important employees to report-in directly to him ...
  12. Dan wouldn't let a player weasel out of their contract -- show up and play, don't get paid.
  13. Of course it doesn't matter... ...but if you had to choose, what's your pick? 22/36 337 9.4 3 0 4-30 119.8
  14. Amazing how well Houston is doing considering how lousy ownership is alleged to be....
