This wouldn't even classify as dollar store shopping. This is thrift store shopping.

Isn't he a slow, possession wr?
-
Probably laughing when the Pats gave Revis a decent sized payday, last year, also.
-
There was no chance we go after Bulaga anyway. Other teams would have been interested in him, had he hit FA. I believe our big ticket tackle signing was Oher.. then draft another in the draft.
-
Can we lure Moose out of retirement by giving him a Bojangles bickamit signed by Delhomme? I'd prefer him over Shorts or Cotch.
-
Would honestly rather stick with Cotch as the #2 Wr, if the other option was Shorts.
-
Do not want. He has never played a full season. He is more of a #3 or #4 WR. Imo.... We've a #3 and #4 WR already.... #3 = Cotch. #4 = Philly/Ginn, #5 = Bersin. Need a solid #2 that can help take pressure off Benji... or that can take advantage of Benji drawing double and triple coverage and get open and make plays. I do not view Shorts as a player that can do either of those things.

Ted Ginn Jr agrees to 2 year deal with Panthers

YES! We are more appealing than Cleveland. ! -
Saints sign Mark Ingram to 4 yr / $ 16 million contract
Pox 08 replied to gettlemanjack's topic in Carolina Panthers
My saint buddies tell me their guards were absolute trash last season.........they were the reason Brees couldn't step up into the pocket without getting pounded. Idk though. -
Not sure who the negative nancy's wanted us to pick-up this early in the off-season. Bulaga is the best available tackle once FA officially begins......and he will probably cost an arm and a leg, since he is only a little bit sucky. The tackles under Bulaga......have basically been horrible or old... So..it's going to be a crapshoot no matter who we pick up. Even Bulaga is a massive gamble.

Panthers were definitely known for their great DL during Luke's rookie year. ........ Especially the middle of their Dline. ..back when he was first declared - great.
-
Wow.. Bills are f'n stupid. Kiko looked amazing his rookie year.. dare I say.....he looked similar to Kuechly's rookie year? If the injury doesn't affect him moving forward.......then he can easily be the 2nd best LBer in the league (After only Kuechly).
-
Ajoh would be good.
-
Cpat ...no. May just go after ByBe for LT, n maybe Jmac or Tsmi for WR. Can't afford raco.
-
McDonald was left off the list because his team stood up for him I thought. While the Panthers bent over and allowed Goodell to dictate who we activate and who we deactivate.....basically forcing Hardy to sign the list and not play, or, don't sign the list and still not play due to being deactivated every game.
-
Basically.^ This. ^ Goodell has nothing on Hardy. It's why they are scraping the bottom of the barrel, trying to get info from the DA and the transcripts from Hardy. Goodell is desperate to find something, anything, that will allow him to be justified in the eyes of the union and the courts (Since Hardy will probably get the courts involved if Goodell oversteps), when it comes to punishing Hardy. Otherwise he would've been "punished" last season.
-
Goodell needs to poo or get off the pot. Want to punish Hardy? Then name the punishment already. 2 games, 4 games, 6 games, 8 games, etc. Right now it just seems like they have nothing to really punish him for...........and that's what the investigation is about, to try and find something to justify a punishment. I agree that the commish list is complete BS. Is it still a "paid vacation" if the commish list extends into next season, for Hardy........and no team touches him?

Mike Tolbert Attended DeAngelos Moms Funeral
Pox 08 replied to NJPanthers12's topic in Carolina Panthers
How funny would this all be if G-man does an interview saying that his talk with Dwill was about begging him to take a small paycut so he could remain.......and retire as a Panther. -
Fan Poll - Did Deanglo's handling of his release tarnish his image?
Pox 08 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. He reminds me of a petty child. His mama passed away.......and the part he holds onto for months and then complains about after his release.........is "They didn't reach out to me". He is a grown man, with his own family, his own support system. Not everyone I thought would show up, showed up to my mother's funeral, I didn't try to shame individuals afterward though, for not attending because it is fuging childish. -
So..........if Proehl pulls off a miracle with Hill....and Philly continues to develop.. How would you rate our WR unit if we fielded #1. Benji, #2. Philly, #3 Ginn, #4 HIll.
-
Damn. I hated him toward the end there, but I'm going to miss the guy being a Panther.
-
A lot of good choices. Roaringriot with my vote. That dude and his posse are always putting things together for Panther fans.

Holy poo, profootball talk comment section hates them some Cam. ""lol if anyone thinks Cam will get a contract anywhere close to Wilson". Wonder if they stupid or if they trolling? Being perceived as better doesn't mean anything.... It's why Flacco was paid around the same as Brees and Rodgers. It's why Cutler recently got a contract offering over $54M guaranteed..even though, at the time, some of his coaches apparently hated him. The new average franchise qb price is between $17M-$23M a year....and it's increasing every year.

Panthers and Cam Newton in contract talks
Pox 08 replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm not worried about it. G-man has worked on teams with Eli and Elway.....so he knows that when you have a franchise qb, you keep him no matter what.. even if you have to open the ol' wallet and pay him a little more than you feel he's worth.- 218 replies
