They lack field generals. I watched Luke highlights last night. My God how far we’ve fallen. He was a cheat code. He ran the defense, make no mistake. Offense had Greg. He knew everybody’s assignments and made sure everything was straight before the huddle was broken. Now, there’s none of that. Not even close. They frequently look like they don’t even know the play book. Students of the game? I don’t see it. The most cerebral players are an UDFA receiver they hit lotto on and a second round rookie edge. Still desperate for a field general.

He really impressed last night. Accurate. Lightning release and throws a ball that 100% passes the eye test. He drastically upped his draft stock showing out like he did on the biggest stage in college football.

Burns quit on his team, full stop. Burns was and continues to be a liability in the run. JC has never looked this bad before the concussion. He always was a very solid tackler, from what I remember. I’ll take the overall body of his work over his current down stretch. I’ve never had to question his heart. The FO has royally screwed up roster management in many other deals but retaining Horn continues to be the right move. He will be back to form next season.

I can only imagine how Horn feels knowing that XL is feloniously stealing his reps. It is literally costing Horn $ on his next contract. That’s criminal. More sus roster management by Canales.

He’s basically a decoy, and not a very good one at that as defenses know the ball is almost never going his way. In this, it’s hard to overstate just how important Coker is.

Only reason XL still gets a jersey on game day is draft politics. Some of his ish is cringe worthy and no aspect of his game has shown any improvement.

And as he proves time and time again, it’s not worth the gamble of throwing to him.

Chuba is much better in blitz pickup.

Both Coker and Tet would be over 1,000 yards. Tet would finish the season with >12 TDs, and be pro bowl bound.

I think they were playing all out for the sack, which I can appreciate the gamble. Sack = end of half. Try to throw it away with pressure in his face = pick 6 or grounding. Roughing the passer wouldn’t have been a big deal with such little time on the clock. Panthers hit a TD maybe 3 times out of 10 with that play.
