Ridder deserved the panthers game ball lol. But would say defense as a whole 9 points will not win many games but today it did.

I dont think Young is as bad as Clausen but they are not far apart at the moment hopefully he improves. The year Clausen played most of the games for the panthers at qb steve smith have 46 catches for 554yards played in 14 games if Clausen would have been the only QB Steve Smith would have played with his career would have been terrible. Not saying we have a Steve Smith type WR on the team now but its hard to know what they could be doing with a better QB. The one game Dalton started the stats were just vastlydifferent but it is one game but thats all we have to go off of.

I wish someone on here knew some of the players in real life to get their real opinions on him. Wouldnt want names of players but would be interesting to know if the entire team has the same opinion most fans have of BY

It would be good to see how Dalton would do rest of the year to evaluate the other players like you said. Everyone always says the Oline is horrible and the WRs are not open but if Dalton suddenly was passing for 300 yards with alot less sacks it may be that Young is so bad currently that he makes the entire team look terrible or the entire team may actually be terrible.

I still think Kyle Allen could be really good in the right situation, I also thought the same of Matt Moore .

I would switch levis and ar just bc ar showed very little as a passer but yeah young is way down the list saw another stat that he is bottom epa for a qualifying qb since 2011

After watching levis and the titans win against miami gotta add what if we had stayed and drafted levis. He made throws all night that bryce just isnt capable of making

As poor as the division is I believe we would be, even if Dalton had just started all year over Young while he learned from the sideline I believe we would be in the mix for the division and Reich is still head coach and the offense would be middle of the pack at least.

He has shown more in the games he has played than Bryce has but that same thing can be said for every qb that has played in the nfl this year. I am for trading nothing for a qb . See who we can sign to compete with Young for next year Minshew (better qbr than justin fields) Dalton and let the best qb play next season.

I know the Dalton sample size for the season is extremely small but what if the team really isnt that bad offensively but Young make the team that bad with horrific QB play? Dalton had 361 yards 2 TDs took 3 sacks but passed 58 times and 0 ints in that game Theilen 11 145 Chark 4 86 sanders and marshal 5 rec each 38 and 35 yards. Extrapolate those out over the season and the offense no longer seems to be the issue. I know this is a huge what if and we dont really know unless young is benched this week and dalton lights it up rest of the year but its just something to think about.

Giving up a few 1st round pics for a qb who has been in the bottom ten of qbr for his first 3 years in the league seems like something this gm would do lol. Garndner minshew is rated higher than fields currently i just dont see why people think fields is awesome.

Dont know who the other guy is but I created this account a few months back after reading posts for a while and finally deciding to join. As for justin fields he has had 2 good games this year and only one above 300 with a really good group around him. 2 years before that below average. I dont see bringing him into a worse team by far and expecting him to increase the play of anyone around him. I could be wrong and perhaps someone trades for him and he does amazing things but personally i would rather risk any rookie or see if young can do anyrhing at all next year over trading anymore draft capital

He doesnt appear to be giving his best effort perhaps bc he has lost faith in young or perhaps he is terrible also but he did run 4.46 at nfl combine

Crazy to think if they had let young sit on the bench all year dalton could have easily had panthers in contention for nfc south and playoffs . People would be talking about reich takin the panthers to the playoffs and the resergence of dalton possibly.. instead the coaches would do better with no qb running wildcat then to have young on the field total coach killer

Justin fields somehow still gets love the dude is terrible the bears fans are happy to get rid of him trading for him is right up the alley of another dumb thing for tepper to do. Panthers would be better rolling with any rookie qb then a proven loser in fields. I dont understand how people still think he is good what has he done for the bears?

I hope some team would throw the panthers a draft pic for him in the offseason so we can see what he looks like on another team.

Bryce was 13 of 39 with 137yards and 2 turnovers I am pretty sure that is by far the worse performance of the week for the league. That should be a new award worse qb in the nfc and afc weekly. Pretty sure young would have alot of those.

If thielan had a decent qb he could be leadin thr nfl in several categories with bryce young throwing he is still gonna make the probowl most likely in nfc and is top 10 in yards and catches

Young has been so terrible the fact that he is throwing deep even though his throws have been incredibly inaccurate is a positive lol

Watching this game he has time he has open receivers he is just missing throws holdin ball too long and making terrible reads throwing to the covered instead of uncovered people. Even the young defenders have to admit he is looking terrible.

Yeah no clue how this didn't immediately stand out too the panthers front office as a huge red flag along with the rest of the red flags.

I actually am less amazed by the deserved hate he is getting and more amazed by the people blindly defending him blaming everyone and everything else but him. I could at least understand all the Cam defenders towards the end b/c he had done so much for the Panthers but Young has done nothing and has only been a Panther for a short while so really dont understand the defenders

I saw a comment from an alabama fan that watched him play in college talk about how terrible his deep ball was in college. He said his deep ball accuracy was atrocious I cant remember the stat he said and not even sure it was true but it was something like he completed only 10% of his deep throws in college. With all that said not sure how the 1st overall grade got put on Young.

Mac jones has a 6 point better qbr and had a 300 yard game with some close to 300s been terrible but would still give him the edge. Zach Wilson is a point behind young in qbr they seem really similiar across the board at the moment ..so yep Young has been historically bad I heard some announcer say he has the lowest ypa in modern nfl history.

Still waiting on Bryce to have even one of these games though sadly hope it happens soon though.
