Just looking at all the teams in the nfl pretty much every single qb in the entire nfl is playing better than Bryce Young. Late round qbs undrafted qbs backup qbs pretty much every single QB is playing better with the exception being the Jets QBs who are playing pretty similiarly. That says alot. I hate to go back to stroud but his 3rd round rookie wr tank dell goes down and he takes another no name backup wr and gives him almost 200 yards in a game. Great QBs make the oline the wr the rb the entire team better right now Bryce is making the entire team worse. Hopefully it just starts clicking but he really needed a year to sit and learn if he ever does take the leap forward to being a good nfl qb.

All Bryce needs is for every other player on the team to be all pro at their positions and he will be at least an average qb ......seriously hope he plays better but its not looking good saw another article comparing his and daltons in depth metrics and it wasnt pretty either. No one can win instantly with this team with Young at QB. If Tepper wanted instant wins he should have went with a Vet QB or drafted a better rookie QB. Not sure Reich was the answer but the staff assembled on paper seemed amazing and to just fire him after 11 games with what he had to work with really sends a terrible message to possible candidates.

Not sure its Reichs fault that Young has been a terrible QB and the GM and owner made a terrible trade and draft choice. With all that being said if suddenly Young passes for 300 yards a game and we putting up 21 or more points weekly I will be proven wrong which I hope I am.

This is one thing I dont understand everyone that is defending Young always act like the Texans are a team of probowlers. Their Oline is playing better but how much of that is Stroud causing defenses to worry about the pass and his escapability. Below is the Oline rankings midseason vs start of the year. How much of the drop or increase is from the QB playing quicker and better its hard to really know. WR they have no one of note but Stroud seems to also have elevated their play. Everyone hates on Theilen but he is 4th in the nfl in receptions and 15th in yardage with young basically throwing a checkdown every play. Imagine if he had a different QB. He has made sports center a lot lately though.....although they have been pick six the other way.

Bryce has the lowest QBR in the entire league and that is saying alot considering so many injuries to starting QBs and rookie qbs playing. I would like to see Dalton play a game or two more just to see if its a huge upgrade then we know it really is Bryce holding the entire offense back. Its really hard to gage if Reich is a good coach or not b/c Young seems so limited physically that it seems they have to scale back the playbook a ton. I have no clue how the scouts did not notice his total lack of velocity.

the offense actually looked worse under brown....if thats his fault or youngs is debatable. the yards per game, the points scored offensively ...pretty much every category got worse with brown as play caller.

Its hard to know if the current coaching staff is good or not. Its only a few games into the first year. Young seems extremely limited and hopefully not a bust but trending that way. Assuming the GM decided to trade the 6th overall the 2024 1st overall a top 10 wr, several 2nds and 3rds for the number 1 overall that was far from a sure fire pic we need a new GM if the coach was on board with that we need a new coach also. Hindsite is 5050 but its not looking good at all with no light at end of tunnel.
