I am curious who in the nfl has a weaker arm than young? I cant think of a starter or a backup that does.

I have faith bryce can turn it around all the panthers need to do is get him probowl offensive linemen and wrs across the board need 10 seconds to throw with 10 yards seperation and young will be at least middle of the pack next year.

I see that now thanks, still pretty impressive basically if it was single man young had a 50% chance thielen was open on the play.

So Adam Theilen was the 5th best at getting open in the entire nfl pretty impressive.

no matter what I am sure young gets preseason and first 6 games of the year....after that they will see improvement or he will go down in history as worst pics trades ever.

Steve Wilks has done ok with the 49ers not great he was almost fired the beginning of the year. in the lions game the lions moved the ball at will except for when they started fumbling dropping passes . On sports radio this morning they specifically talked about wilkes and how his defensive scheme was the weakest part of the 49ers and would cost them the superbowl.

With some of the young defenders i wonder what exactly he would have to do or show for it to be his fault and not everyone elses fault that he had a horrible rookie season.

Thanks he seems like he would be a down to earth nice guy to meet. I work with a guy who worked at target in Charlotte and said that Steve Beeurline came in one day to return a cheap pair of shoes he bought said he was really nice just amazed him he was returning a 17 dollar pair of shoes.

This may be true but we also win it with andy dalton starting. Saying this more as a take on just how bad young is.

The NFC south was terrible with Stroud the panthers win the division and are in the playoffs and reich is coach of the year candidate. Stroud looks like a once every 5 or 10 year talent at qb. young looks like an undrafted rookie if texans took him they are 3 wins and trying to run every play.

Doubt he signs with Atlanta he is probably scared to face Young twice a year.

I think it would be interesting to have an average Joe league where it was semi reality and sport in one. Basically take a group of guys from the gym or even non athletic dudes local to an area spend 2 months training and have them play very similiar type team of just coached up somewhat inshape out of shape dudes would be interesting at least.

Spot on if the panthers had made stroud the pic reich is still head coach and they are in the playoffs this year. If texans had taken young they win 3 or 4 games.

I agree below is his stats before Stroud. He was an afterthought stroud powered him to his best year ever by far. Texans receivers on paper at the beginning of the year looked arguably worse than the panthers at the beginning of the year, but a great QB makes things happen.

Your post has me wondering if moore had not been traded but the panthers somehow still ended up with young what kinda year would he had had compared to his season with the bears.

Anyone that honestly thinks the texans team in the playoffs today has way better receivers than the panthers please look at the names lined up and look at the stats prior to stroud. Stroud took bench warmer wrs and giving them 100 plus yard games ever week. Dell was their star and he goes down and stroud makes the next guy up a star. Dell was also a rookie 3rd rounder a great qb makes everyon better. Young kills careers around him same as clausen and wienke

Profootball talk (nbc owned) talks about it in their article the nfl gets alot of freebies from the government bc they are suppose to allow the entire country free access to view but until congress cracks down on it the nfl will keep selling games behind pay walls
