33. We're gonna be cutting receivers with talent this year, and if the Jags didn't value him as a returner, I don't see him getting a look from the Panthers. That far down the depth chart he'd have to have more versatility value.
-
Todman has shifty quickness at RB and is a proven returner. I like Ward but don't think he'd push out a versatile player like Todman.
-
I consider Brockel to be a TE, as he's listed, but a blocking TE, and I think Ward has more potential value. I'm hoping they keep 4 RBs. I can't see cutting Fozzy or Todman, and CAP and Stewart are locks. Tolbert is listed as a FB and I never include him in the RB group. I don't see Mike losing his spot, but I do think they hope Ward can take it over eventually.
-
If Ward comes through as they expect, in training camp, I predict he'll at least make the practice squad. If he takes a roster spot, I think it's Brockel's. I'm already a fan of the 'cannonball'. http://www.ruleoftree.com/2015/5/10/8581887/2015-nfl-draft-lee-ward-signed-by-the-carolina-panthers

I noticed that. Looks like a bad photoshopped pic.

A couple more Big Macs and he can take Hardy's spot at DE.

Never's a long time. I'm sure the same was said about the US chances of winning an Olympic Gold, back when they had to use amateurs.

I wouldn't object to switching a couple of digits and making it an 83.21% improvement. I think all the bases are covered now.

I think the backup, Martin, is an upgrade over Bell.

All they can do, in order to keep valued FO personnel, coaches, or players, is make the organization a place that people want to stick with. No matter what you do, other factors you can't control can figure into whether someone goes or stays.

I see this version of the Panthers as confident, optimistic, hungry, and without any major distractions.

Panthers Mini Camp Observations - June 17

I felt like both these guys would make the team and contribute. That feeling hasn't gone away.- 25 replies

So what's the connection to the Shrek character besides the long hair? And that's a mouthful for a nickname.
-
Trivia - I was looking at the roster on panthers.com and noticed that all 6 RB's are listed at 5'10". Average the 2 FB's together and you get 5'10" again.

I'm sure DG will read and agree with your points, and cut him right away.

I think Todman would have to play his way OFF the team. They want versatile players and his kick return experience provides that.
-
I found so many that were distracting (in more ways than one), that I turned off the feature completely.

The Colts are the AFC favorite, but I hope they crash and burn. I'd like to crush the Pats. Let 'em think they've got it wrapped up and then bury their asses in the 4th qtr.
-
If he makes the roster then he deserves to be there, based on his play, and I, for one, don't have a problem with that. Yeah, he failed as a return guy, not as a receiver.
-
I can't post........ I could be wrong though
-
We've seen Fozzy, so if Todman is better I like him. He averaged 25+ yds on kick returns the last two seasons with J'ville, so he seems to have value there as well as a backup RB. I sure wouldn't cross him off the roster just yet.
-
I don't agree that a lot think that. A vocal few can seem like a lot. Soft, lazy RB's don't make it to the NFL. That would be a really small % with that wish. I think you're overreacting to forum noise.

Bruce Irvin, Seattle LB wants to play for ATL next yr
caatfan replied to Moorgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can see the Atlanta GM asking himself, 'do we really want a LB who's that dumb?'. -
How many true, lifelong Panthers fans are actually out there?
caatfan replied to SIGCHI222's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was raised as a Redskin fan since that's who we got on TV every Sunday when I was a kid. Became a Panther fan right away, so I'm a life long fan from the standpoint of the Panthers' life. -
FTFY I managed to get through college completely unnoticed by cops, campus or otherwise.
