  1. 33. We're gonna be cutting receivers with talent this year, and if the Jags didn't value him as a returner, I don't see him getting a look from the Panthers. That far down the depth chart he'd have to have more versatility value.
  2. Todman has shifty quickness at RB and is a proven returner. I like Ward but don't think he'd push out a versatile player like Todman.
  3. I consider Brockel to be a TE, as he's listed, but a blocking TE, and I think Ward has more potential value. I'm hoping they keep 4 RBs. I can't see cutting Fozzy or Todman, and CAP and Stewart are locks. Tolbert is listed as a FB and I never include him in the RB group. I don't see Mike losing his spot, but I do think they hope Ward can take it over eventually.
  4. If Ward comes through as they expect, in training camp, I predict he'll at least make the practice squad. If he takes a roster spot, I think it's Brockel's. I'm already a fan of the 'cannonball'. http://www.ruleoftree.com/2015/5/10/8581887/2015-nfl-draft-lee-ward-signed-by-the-carolina-panthers
  5. I noticed that. Looks like a bad photoshopped pic.
  6. A couple more Big Macs and he can take Hardy's spot at DE.
  7. Never's a long time. I'm sure the same was said about the US chances of winning an Olympic Gold, back when they had to use amateurs.
  8. I wouldn't object to switching a couple of digits and making it an 83.21% improvement. I think all the bases are covered now.
  9. All they can do, in order to keep valued FO personnel, coaches, or players, is make the organization a place that people want to stick with. No matter what you do, other factors you can't control can figure into whether someone goes or stays.
  10. I see this version of the Panthers as confident, optimistic, hungry, and without any major distractions.
  11. I felt like both these guys would make the team and contribute. That feeling hasn't gone away.
  12. So what's the connection to the Shrek character besides the long hair? And that's a mouthful for a nickname.
  13. Trivia - I was looking at the roster on panthers.com and noticed that all 6 RB's are listed at 5'10". Average the 2 FB's together and you get 5'10" again.
  14. I'm sure DG will read and agree with your points, and cut him right away.
  15. I think Todman would have to play his way OFF the team. They want versatile players and his kick return experience provides that.
  16. I found so many that were distracting (in more ways than one), that I turned off the feature completely.
  17. The Colts are the AFC favorite, but I hope they crash and burn. I'd like to crush the Pats. Let 'em think they've got it wrapped up and then bury their asses in the 4th qtr.
  18. If he makes the roster then he deserves to be there, based on his play, and I, for one, don't have a problem with that. Yeah, he failed as a return guy, not as a receiver.
  19. I can't post........ I could be wrong though
  20. We've seen Fozzy, so if Todman is better I like him. He averaged 25+ yds on kick returns the last two seasons with J'ville, so he seems to have value there as well as a backup RB. I sure wouldn't cross him off the roster just yet.
  21. I don't agree that a lot think that. A vocal few can seem like a lot. Soft, lazy RB's don't make it to the NFL. That would be a really small % with that wish. I think you're overreacting to forum noise.
  22. I can see the Atlanta GM asking himself, 'do we really want a LB who's that dumb?'.
  23. I was raised as a Redskin fan since that's who we got on TV every Sunday when I was a kid. Became a Panther fan right away, so I'm a life long fan from the standpoint of the Panthers' life.
  24. FTFY I managed to get through college completely unnoticed by cops, campus or otherwise.
