If Dalton isn’t a significant upgrade, Bryce will be back in sooner than we think. There would have to be a 3rd rounder and a viable qb given in a trade which probably isn’t happening. Dalton won’t last the rest of the year with Icky. If Bryce comes back with a “f*ck it” gunslinger mentality knowing there’s nothing to lose, and he still blows, then get what you can in a trade or release him

Kurt Warner was Bryce level bad once Faulk waned and it took him 5 years to get back. If Brooks is good and it coincides with a Dalton resurgence take it with a grain of salt

His and Kurt Warners rise just so happened with the arrival of the two best all purpose rbs in the entire history of the nfl. They proved later in their careers they could still play, but a young player having a once in a lifetime rb does wonders

Canales overemphasized getting the ball out quick after week 1 which Bryce certainly did week 2, which is not going to be an effective offense with these lead feet receivers. Gameplan should have changed at halftime if it did not. Bryce missed a lot of short throws anyway but it’s still a pathetic offense even if the completions were made. Bryce is probably saying he did exactly what Canales told him to do

These last two games were two of the most pathetic qb performances in recent history, by either a journeyman or blue chip prospect. Worse than Desmond Ridder, Dorian Robinson, any free agent bum. If he couldn’t see this coming, it makes sense.

Canales did fix him by all accounts, but when the bombs go off he goes into shell shock and becomes the chicken with his head cut off. Canales cannot fix that.
