These miracle games by backups are just hitters seeing a pitcher for the first time. Jake browning is not good, dobbs is not good. Mariota had a Levis 4td debut. Maybe Browning is Kurt Warner or just had a Matt Flynn game

While true most of the year, this was not the case yesterday. His accuracy and anticipation are supposed to lead to YAC. Too many throwaways when he can run for 5+ yards. Bad checks into stacked box runs. Pre-snap he is god awful, UDFA awful, and is the most disappointing of all his shortcomings this year.

The Bucs LB’s got hurt. Even more reason to run on 3rd and 1, but then again you’d like to take advantage of 4th string corners, no? doesn’t matter in the end, this team cannot do anything right and even if every single break went their way, they would still struggle to win. Has a very 2021 Lions feel.

I think Dalton will start the last two games if there’s no improvement. Bruce had plenty of time to throw today and still had a below average day by his already dreadful standards

Flutie got drafted into a similar situation, fizzled out on the NFL’s worst team, destroyed the CFL and then took the Bills to the playoffs but by then he was old and only had a few good years left in him. Kyler isn’t good, but not horrible. analytics say Bryce will turn out ok, just not maybe as a Panther

Truth is, There has never been a bad 5’10 QB. Flutie, Kyler, and Bryce are it.

Wilson was great when things clicked, Flutie had some good years. Tarkenton. Flutie and Kyler and perhaps Wilson are the only legit 5’10’s ever.

He is certainly missing some transistors and diodes in that processor at this point. Clearly failed the “most nfl ready, safest bet” mantra, so he is indeed at bust based on that, but he may be the guy it takes 2,3,4 years before it starts to click.

Plays calls weren’t bad at all. He had all day to throw, and any other team would have had a wide open man for a possible TD. Maybe Miles on 4th. All on Bryce. Pretty much the same as the 2 pt conversion except fried circuit board didn’t run

Is the OL disciplined enough for motions and legal downfield blocking when they have a hard enough time handling simple stunts? This will be fun. Either the offense will be even worse, or Bryce will unlock. Gonna be a fun 6 weeks
