Jacksonville had two straight years of overall #1s and then another second first rounder. And then another 10 years of top 5 picks before that. They should be a dynasty with competent front office

it seems more so than a weak arm that too many balls come out bad, whether it’s his small hands or bad mechanics I can’t tell.

Anyone watch the presser? Did he break some ribs?
-
He was ok until he got injured? Our only hope is whatever happened to his ribs affected his play today

Bryce completely outplayed by CJ Beathard
Ghostofdelhomme replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’ll get a training camp opportunity but no one is going to gift him a starting job and the Panthers shouldn’t either. He probably looks great in practice in a pink shirt but there are a lot of driving range pros out there -
game day thread....just in case you're watching

I hope that early injury affected Bryce the rest of the game, because if not, it’s a one in a lifetime draft pick setback -
Looks the same level of underwhelming as he did last year before the injury.

Anthony Lynn, the Herbert whisperer? -
Why the Panthers Should NOT want Ben Johnson

Why the Panthers Should NOT want Ben Johnson

He’s a rb specialist, made Melvin Gordon and eckeler, drafted Herbert and Amon Ra, found eckeler on the trash heap and signed for nothing -

Lynn made every offense he had a juggernaut and he did not get fired. -

How truly innovative is Ben Johnson? Anthony Lynn was the true architect of the Lions offense and made Goff and running attack good. He learned all the secrets after two years? -
PFF: Bryce Young 5th-best QB over last two weeks
Ghostofdelhomme replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers
If Tampa wins this week, they have nothing to play for week 18 which makes a good game from Bryce a likely useless data point. I believe the Jags need to win this week, and their defense will be under tremendous pressure if Lawrence is out. -

Seems like there’s only one free defender coming on some plays than 2 or more in the past. There’s breakdowns and then there’s jailbreaks. I doubt even prime Brady could succeed when an opponent’s 4 man rush gives the same pressure as bringing 6 or 7. Imagine being able to play cover 3 and get blitz type pressure. -
What happened to maintaining control through the catch?
Ghostofdelhomme replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Spread was GB -3.5 so had to let them try for a TD -
Well he’ll get another non-profit pass defense next week

Any good free agent WR probably go to KC but go after Mike Evans or Tee Higgins. This team has come up empty since DJ who was a no brainer 1st off the board WR

For all that is holy please let this season end GameDay Thread

Tried to gun it to the sideline and Christopher Crossed it -
Sign tee Higgins, move icky to guard, draft a LT or RB. Chuba is ok but only gets what’s blocked

I know some of you will think this means nothing
Ghostofdelhomme replied to Frank9999's topic in Carolina Panthers
Finding a way to win crap games is the first step out of a losing culture. Need more screens to Chubba, more upfield qb runs, keep taking deep shots if 1-1. The improved pass protection the last two games is promising. -
Lord, Godwin or Evan’s are open every play, and Flacco has Cooper and Njoku and good rb’s. And Levis has been a dumpster since his Mariota first game miracle

This might be the end for Ridder. A notch in the belt if you can end a career without injuring

A W is a W but a TD would be better for confidence. I don’t blame Tabor as he has no long term incentive
