  1. Another roster change today- but not a QB. https://x.com/GabeMcDonald_/status/1819755287781212604
  2. They might go extra cheapo and bring in a relative unknown who has some experience with Canales- Danny Etling is a UFL QB that had two stints at the bottom of Seattle’s roster while Canales was there.
  3. There was an article on Yardbarker that suggested the Panthers and Chargers were both courting Trevor Siemian. Just Speculation on the part of the author though. https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/panthers_chargers_likely_fighting_over_same_free_agent/s1_17198_40693406
  4. If they want a vet- Ryan Tannehill is at home sitting on his couch probably.
  5. The kid we signed to replace Sullivan is Curtis Hodges. He was an UDFA two years ago, by Washington. He didn’t play much- He has spent the majority of the past two seasons on IR. A Big, Tall kid at 6”8 , 255lbs.
  6. This would be the way to go I think, if they have room for 7 WRs. If they keep only 6 someone has to go. Coker? ISM? TMJ? Thompkins might be on that bubble too!
  7. Im Sorry- I’m a public school teacher. IMO he’s rich as heck!
  8. I agree with most of what has been said in this thread. Thompkins, Coker, ISM may all also be replaced by other camp cuts later too. I read an article today predicting the Chiefs cut Mecole Hardman again. He’d be an upgrade over ISM probably. Someone will get cut and steal a spot here at some point more than likely.
  9. https://x.com/KeepPurringBen/status/1818693758621282638 Apparently Coker got a really good contract for a UDFA. The Draftnetwork seems to think that makes him a lock to make the roster. If this is true then, the way I see it, Thielan, XL, Dionte, and probably Mingo are all locks as well. ISM may also be because of his special teams contribution. Does that mean TMJ is gone? How do you think the WR room shakes out? Who stays? Who is cut?
  10. He will push a pile better than anything currently on the roster.
  11. This Kid is a little heavier than any of the current backs on our roster, still not a true bruiser. His tape reminds me of Spencer Brown’s - but even slower.
  12. IMO The “run the ball” philosophy makes sense based on the hand the coaches were dealt. The possibility of establishing the run successfully really may be just trying to maximize talents of guys like Icky, and minimizing the weaknesses of others. I hope it works. It could open up easier pass plays- takes pressure of BY, provide manageable 3rd downs for the offense, keep the ball away from the other teams offense, rest the D etc… As the roster changes we should hopefully get a more modern pass oriented offense. I heard a lot of folks saying the offense is at least more modern as far as pre- snap motions and formations hopefully it continues to evolve.
  13. It’s early- the kid seems to want it. He works hard and has those traits people keep pointing out, sometimes jeeringly. They haven’t even practiced in pads yet. No Need to Panic.
  14. Thompkins isn’t that fast for a little guy. D. Byrd was small but had legit deep speed. the new WR the added with the latest moves, Devin Carter, is a bigger receiver and not very fast. I doubt either make the roster, but you never know.
  15. If he improves visibly the wins and losses don’t really matter- if he’s getting better and looks like a decent NFL starter you give him the entire season. if he regresses and keeps making the same mistakes you pull him if Dalton gives you a better chance to win.
  16. Franks seems a kind of gadget player. He’s tall but a little light for TE. He played QB in college. He hasn’t caught a pass in 3 years- but has a few rushes. interesting but unless he shows out on special teams he’s probably just a camp body
  17. I’ve heard worse. Keep Pounding DF https://youtu.be/Abi0ncwGSRo?si=Z0JQTzeCC-2WSgxD
  18. https://x.com/panthersbreakd/status/1815482804106305930 Let’s not forget CB J. Jacobs is working out later in the week too. He might push Dane Jackson as a starter opposite Horn. He’s just under 6ft and just over 200lbs. Has starting experience and is 27 years old. Probably good depth at the very least.
  19. https://x.com/DNewtonespn/status/1816112615220785517 according to D. Newton there is still no set timetable for Brooks’ ability to take part fully in practices.
  20. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/1815844022059163817 According to Mike Kaye CB Chau Smith Wade and WR Jalen Coker can practice tomorrow. No Word on RB Jonathon Brooks I guess. I am excited to see if either of these Rookies can contribute!
  21. https://x.com/joshkleinrules/status/1816135984309821721 Chuba staying after practice- putting in extra work!
  22. Naw…I would have dusted Bootle down the sideline and made a house call!
