  1. Added 2nd half point differential just for kicks
  2. I decided to actually check the stats on this because I felt like avoiding real work instead...and here you go:
  3. I'm upset it wasn't a 17+ point loss, need more embarrassing performances so Tepper can see what everyone else does - Rhule ain't it.
  4. That Athletic article actually has Gilmore on record as someone who likes Rhule: Stephon Gilmore has only played for Rhule for a couple of months after the 2019 NFL Defensive Player of the Year arrived in a trade from New England in October. And while Gilmore is disappointed the Panthers haven’t been winning, he’s enjoyed his time with Rhule, whom he called a players’ coach. “He listens to his players. He cares about his players. He really cares about them. He actually asks them about their life, their family,” Gilmore said. “Most coaches don’t do that. He actually cares about the players. You don’t see that too often. I think guys appreciate that.”
  5. If, as I suspect, we lose out, I just cannot see how you can retain a coach that loses 7 straight and 12 of 14 games to end the season in what is year 2 of said coach installing his culture/regime. So if we do lose these next 2 weeks, I honestly believe Tepper will pull the plug and let a dead man walking interim coach the season ending game.
  6. If the ball doesn’t come out within 0.5 second the QB is snowed under smfh
  7. Old post, but this explains it: http://www.footballperspective.com/trailing-by-15-in-the-middle-of-the-4th-quarter-teams-are-foolish-to-not-go-for-2-after-touchdowns/ “The counterargument goes something along the lines of “just take the points, that way it is a one-score game.” Essentially, people are afraid of missing the two-point attempt and trailing by 9 points. But it’s not a one-score game. Trailing by 8 isn’t a one-score game if you are going to fail on your two-point try. And there’s no reason to think your odds of converting a 2-point attempt are higher when trailing by 2 than by 9. Trailing by 8 is a 1.5-possiession game; half the time it is a 1-possession game, and half the time it is a 2-possesion game. To simply put your head in the sand and say “I don’t wanna know!!” may keep hope alive longer but it lowers your odds of winning.” Short answer, going for 2 down 15 in the 4th is absolutely the correct call.
  8. Curious how this chart looks at the end of the season. While we might have the 6th or 7th best defense as of today, it’s not a great sign that we’ve been strafed by two below average offenses on both the ground and thru the air over the past two weeks.
  9. Don't forget who told you the difference between Drake and Future. Plus if I win these I would donate my current upper deck ticket free of charge to also be given away on the Huddle! Win-win.
  10. lol I'm surprised Josh didn't correct you This is when Future's verse starts: https://youtu.be/NiM5ARaexPE?t=1m8s
  11. Igo putting only Drake's verse of Jumpman in and then saying he knows it's Future. Smh
  12. Seahawks fans keep arguing how this late season 7 game stretch proves Russ is the MVP (notwithstanding both the Seahawks and Panthers were 6-1 in their last 7). Well, let's break it down into stats. If you just isolate the passing stats, you get: Wilson: 1,906 yards, 71% completion percentage, 24 TDs, 1 INT Newton: 1,800 yards, 64%, 20 TDs, 1 INT If you add in rushing statistics tho, they produced virtually identical numbers over that stretch: Wilson: 2,104 total yards, 25 total TDs, 2 turnovers Newton: 2,070 total yards, 24 total TDs, 2 turnovers And that doesn't even take into account that Cam sat out a lot of 4th quarters (Cowboys, Falcons, most of Bucs game). Unfortunately for Russ and the Seahawks, the first 9 games of the season count too. This isn't even a debate.
  13. I don't have faith in the offense to put up a lot of points (a couple of TDs, a FG or two), but I do think we get a defensive score. I'll go with 24-13 good guys.
  14. When we drafted Luke, I raged like an imbecile. "WHY!? WE HAVE JON BEASON!! STUPID PICK!" Now I can't imagine this team without him. He and Cam are the heart and soul of this team for years to come. @yshah2187
  15. This looks likely to me. I think we could win one of those primetime home games, but on the flip side, I think we lose to Dallas on Thanksgiving, so I'm still in the same range. 9-10 wins should be attainable if the WRs can step up.
  16. I've adjusted my expectations for the season. If we can win 9 games and snag a WC spot, I'll be content.
  17. Why do we already have the MRI results for Louis Delmas, who got hurt after KB, but not KB yet? The longer we wait, the worse the news IMO.
