  1. Not at all lmao. "No one knows the future"? "I expect..."? He could have clearly and unequivocally stated he was returning next season for Michigan, but he left the door pretty open IMO
  2. Maybe I'm missing something, but looks like they have their full complement of 2024 picks? They also recouped a 2023 first rounder from SF via Miami with the Chubb deal. https://www.prosportstransactions.com/football/DraftTrades/Future/Broncos.htm
  3. Per Allbright call was placed to gauge his interest in interviewing:
  4. IMO, I don't think this will be a "bidding war" in the sense that whoever offers the largest contract will land Harbaugh. I believe Harbaugh is hoping this will be his last move and he'll be looking for the right situation rather than the biggest bag. He's been at UM for the past 8 years, I'm assuming he hopes to be at his next stop at least that long, and I can't see him coaching past 70 or so.
  5. The only active NFL head coach with more than one ring is Bill Belichick so not sure why you think that's a slight. Should the Chiefs fire Andy Reid since they only have one ring with a HOF worthy QB? Mike Tomlin won his one ring in 2008 and hasn't been back to the SB since 2010, should the Steelers also get rid of him?
  6. I don't think you can just take at face value the word of people involved though. Matt Rhule himself said he didn't have full roster control when it was quite obvious that he did.
  7. He had a 5-3 playoff record with 3 NFC championship appearances, an NFC title, and a SB appearance in 4 years. His worst NFL regular season record was 8-8. I can understand being skeptical, but no need to make up reasons as to why. BTW his brother has a SB ring as well.
  8. My gut feeling the next Panthers HC is going to be one of Steve Wilks, John Harbaugh, or Frank Reich
  9. Can’t wait for a brand new coaching staff.
  10. This is all on Wilks conservative ass coaching style smh.
  11. Wow, he had 7 FFs for the 49ers last year? I think he can be serviceable and maybe come in fresh and bring a little of that 2015 magic with him.
  12. While I don't disagree with any of this, the play of Geno Smith this year makes me pause just a bit. I think Darnold is every bit as talented as Geno. He's not a "franchise QB" like a Mahomes, Allen, or Burrow given he needs a lot of structure and support with a good OL and a stout run game, but how many QBs DON'T need that? The 3 I mentioned plus a couple of others?
  13. Next week is a defacto playoff game. No matter the permutation of wins and losses, if we lose next week to Tampa, we're out of the playoffs:
  14. Not sure a tie between WSH and NYG would be more beneficial than just an outright loss by one. If both WSC and NYG finish 8-7-2 that trumps an 8-9 Carolina team. Probably need NYG to go into a complete tailspin and finish 7-9-1 for Carolina to have a realistic shot at the 7th seed (if we lose to TB)
  15. I'd be ok with Wilks IF we get a better offensive mind in place. I'm not a McAdoo fan. If Reich would come in as OC, that would be ideal, but I get the sense that he'll likely land on his feet as a HC somewhere. If Wilks isn't the guy, I'd shoot for the moon and go after Harbaugh, and if he says no, I'd be happy to "settle" for one of the Shanes (Steichen or Waldron).
  16. In any case, there's no leverage since the trade deadline passed. We'd just be holding on to him to be petty at this point. We're not gonna play him or resign him, might as well let him go.
  17. Your math is off. Mayfield has played in 372 of the 705 offensive snaps in Carolina this year, according to Pro Football Reference. At that pace, he'd need to play in about five-and-a-half games in order to reach 70 percent, and Carolina only has five games remaining. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/draft-pick-compensation-for-carson-wentz-and-baker-mayfield-trades-are-virtually-locked-in/
